AP Woodworking came very highly recommended by our general contractor. Even then they exceeded our expectations. We had provided specific details on what we wanted, right down to pictures. Once the cabinets went in, we discovered several extra details/enhancements in the cabinets that we had not even thought of. We also had some unusual requirements that they addressed perfectly. Beautiful work all around. I will use them again in a heartbeat.

I hired Celio Group to remove an existing retaining wall and to build a new one in its place. The old retaining wall had come apart due to water issues. The contract we signed for the work had a clause that specifically stated that they were aware of the water issues with the old retaining wall and that they would design and build a wall that allow for the proper drainage of the water. Instead, the new wall has created a far worse water problem - now the water is draining into my basement, specifically because of the wall they designed and built. And, they are refusing to accept any responsibility for the issue even though they specifically agreed to properly address the issue in writing.

Ed provided a reasonable quote and performed the work on time and on quote. He and his team even came in over the long weekend to get the job done on time. Whenever he left he cleaned up thoroughly and he left the floors spotless. And, his wife provided excellent recommendations on the colours we ultimately used. I highly recommend Decorators Choice.

I'll start by saying that this happened over 2 years ago and things were a bit different back then. However, my experience was so bad I thought it was worth reporting. And, I should also say Imeneo's trades were very good and work they did complete was well done. However, getting them to complete my job was a nightmare. Whenever I complained about the delays they would always promise that they would be back tomorrow, or the next week. Sometimes they would come for a day or so. In the end the job was over 12 months late and twice I was left without heat in early winter. They actually quit the job early and left me to complete the job myself. I'm only sorry that I had fired them earlier.

The job was to fairly straight forward: Remove a hot water radiator, cap the pipes, rough-in new pipes to a new location while the floor was open, return to install a new radiator when the new floor was complete. The finished work was not well done: The pipes they installed coming out of the floor were very crooked and they did not install the chrome washer sleeves. In all it looked terrible relative to the new kitchen I had just installed. They refused to fix their sloppy work. I told the gentleman (Mike) I would write them a bad review if he did not do something to correct the situation and he said he did not care. I think his attitude really says it all. ************** I would like to address a couple of inaccuracies in Mike's response (below): He was late for the first part of the job, showing up a day due to a "miscommunication" (so not always on time). And, he did charge me extra (I have his invoice to prove it). Finally, His offer to address the situation seems insincere and is very untimely. He had plenty of opportunity to redress the situation at the time and I have since fixed most of his work myself.

I contacted Demetris becuase he had great reviews on Homestars and he did not disapoint. He came on time, finnished on time and did an excellent job. Even better, i asked him mow much he would charge to cut some extra cord around for another room while he had all his equipment out. He cut it for me, intalled it and did it for free. I will use him again, no question.

They had a workman on site within the hour, identified the problem and had it repaired very quickly. I was particularly happy with their attention to detail and doing the job right.
