Les Paysagistes L G D created a custom water feature which is now attached to the main swimming pool, and gives our backyard a more outdoors nature feeling to it, and we love relaxing outside with the soothing sound of running water. I would definitely recommend this company!
I contracted West Island Doors to replace my back door leading outside from my garage. They removed my old door which was not energy efficient, and replaced it with a new one, and it is supposed to keep the cold or heat out, so with winter approaching, I'll find out soon enough. They had the whole job completed within a couple hours, and showed up to do the job as scheduled. I would definitely consider them for my next project.
I was changing my outdated colored bathroom tub to a standard white one. The installers from a local company called Groupe Jenoma came in, removed my old tub and installed the new one within the same day. They worked well, and even replaced the surrounding tiles without any issues all in that one day. I was sure it was going to be a few day process, but was pleasantly surprised.
I was getting tired of the same old bathroom floor, and since I was already changing the tub, figured it was the right time to re-do the floor as well. I contracted Artz Renovation Flooring after being recommended from a neighbor, and I have not regretted it. I can't say there was anything that really made this company stand out from other companies, but they were very polite, worked neatly, and got the job done in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to call them again.
As the family was expanding, I found myself running out of pantry space. All I was looking for was something simple to store more groceries. The guys from SKG Design came in and after about 30 minutes or so, came up with a custom solution for my kitchen to maximize my available space. I thought I would have to go with a standard store bought pantry, but they showed me how comparable in price a custom made one is. It definitely pays to deal with professionals, and I'm glad I called them.
Searching for a local company to do some carpet cleaning, I came across these guys at West Island Carpet Cleaning (English name) They came in, moved out the furniture, and cleaned my carpets to the point that they looked brand new again. They recommended that I let it dry, so I waited one day to move the furniture back, but he even asked me if I wanted him to come back to do it for me, which at that point, I was shocked! I would not hesitate to use them again!
My home was in need of replacing the worn caulking from around the windows and doors, so I went with a local company to handle the job. Although this company claims to do larger scaled projects, they also contract residential homes as well. What seemed to take a good portion of the day, was obviously worth it, as they didn't just cover up the old calking, but actually removed it and then applied the new caulking. I don't know if it's psychological, but it actually seems warmer inside since they finished the work.
Having stared at the bland colors of our living room wall for too long, we decided to add some bold colors to it. Not having much luck deciding on a color scheme, the professionals from Orchid And Mikes, presented us with several choices based on our surroundings, and we were more that confident that it would fit within our lifestyle. The end result is now a masterpiece that we are proud to show off, and we owe it all to these guys.
Finally giving in, and tackling my closet space dilemma, I ended up contracting the job with Glenn Robertson Closet Design. These guys have everything from the budget minded, to luxury installations. Having a typical smaller sized closet, I went with the budget options, but they made me feel no less important than if I were to have gone more upscale. I definitely recommend these guys.
Nothing like getting ready for the upcoming winter season knowing that my chimney has been inspected, cleaned and ready to go. The guy from Steve Clark was very polite, cleaned up after himself, and offered some suggestions on how to maintain a trouble free chimney. There was nothing exceptional with this job, other than he was very courteous.
I had too much lawn around my pool, and the grass clippings always found their way into the pool. I finally decided to remove the grass, and replace it with a low maintenance garden. The people from Ranaldi came to evaluate my situation, designed a suitable garden for my location, and executed the job in a short time frame. I am pleased to say, I now have much more free time to enjoy my pool rather than doing lawn maintenance. I am so impressed with their work, that I will be contracting them shortly to design a walkway for the side of my house.
The back portion of my wooden fence collapsed after a huge storm, and needed urgent repair. I came across a local company called Proscape Enterprises and their fast and professional service technicians came and installed a new one within 2 days. Now I'm wishing the rest would have gone down as well, since the new section looks amazing... Next time!
I recently contracted Adam's Eaves to secure my existing gutters and cover them to prevent the usual build-up of debris. This past spring was a pleasure not having to go up on my roof to to the usual clean-up. I was very pleased how efficient this product works, and recommend them.
I started having leaks in my roof and was told that my whole roof had to be replaced. I got a second opinion with West Island Roofing, and they found the problem was closer to a vertical wall, and was able to repair just the problem area. I really appreciated their honesty, and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

These guys know their business. Period! I was only going to redo my driveway which was rather small. These guys recommended things to me that I couldn't even imagined. They showed me some designs that would maximize my space, and by doing some landscaping at the same time, I would be prepared for the future, once my children have cars of their own. I can't thank them enough for all their hard work, and answering what seemed like a million questions I must have asked. I know there are a lot of similar contractors around, but I'm sure glad I found this company. My next project is in the backyard, and I know who I'm calling
I have a Maytag clothes dryer which is fairly new, but out of warranty. I requested service directly from Maytag, but found out that it would be too expensive to fix... SO I THOUGHT. I called Service par Excellence, which is a local company, and someone came over right away and said that it was only a minor problem and would be able to fix it within the hour. I loved their honesty, and now I once again have an appliance that's as good as new at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend them.
After spending years of garage clutter, I found this local company who specializes in garage organization cabinets and racks. They seem to be a small company, as it was the same person who originally gave me the quote, that came to do the installation. Why I never did this garage overhaul before is beyond me. These guys took care of everything, from clean up to installation. They are more expensive than what I would have gotten from a big box store, but I would have had to do all the work myself, and I would not have received the same quality as this company's products. It has now been several months since this transformation, and I don't stop getting complements on how my garage looks like a showroom. My reason for only giving 3 stars for recommending them to my mother, is because she has no garage. For anyone else who is in the market for a similar project, I highly recommend them!
After shopping around for some new flooring for my house, I ended up dealing with Million Carpets & Tiles. It was unbelievable how personalized their service is. The staff was extremely helpful and I was treated as if I was a long time friend. I will never go back to those generic places who are only trying to get an order. Oh yeah, having received a lower cost helped as well, but these guys have now gained a lifetime customer.
