I have trusted Tony from Networx Windows and doors for many years , i treated him like family, i had many jobs completed by him including my deck and side door. In October 2020 he completed my kitchen renovations with many delays and apologies which i always excused . I now have a failed kitchen vinyl flooring placed by Mike which apparently is not employed with Tony anymore . I had noticed the floor starting to pop when the kitchen was finished Tony stated that it was too much work that one day he would glue it if got worse well it sure did. I have back and forth texts coming from February into August of this year promising he would come and have a look and always and excuse why he cant make it, Covid , understaffed??? So in August i decided i would ask one more time and he said it wasnt his problem?? I have 2 young children and now have a floor that is holding on with duct tape, my baby crawls on it, ive tripped over it. I had a flooring company take a look and provided me with a report that the floor was not levelled!! also that the countertops were placed on top of the floor which apparently never should have happened! I am stuck with a headache, a floor that i cant clean and a hazard by Tony from Networx that shrugged me off like i was nothing...... So please if anyone is wanting anything from this man expect lengthy delays and contractor failure.I only asked for it to be replaced and put in properly , he treated a single mother with 2 children like a joke. Buyer beware..

Company Response

As you can tell by my company's name of networx windows and doors, I'm a suppler and installer of windows and doors in the Fraser valley. As you can also tell by my reviews I am, and continue to provide credible and honest service to my clients. I have in the above case also provided honest service to this client as well.
This recent project involved massaging and manipulating an entire set of kitchen cabinets which Sonja purchased on Craigs list. She also purchased some laminate flooring at a bargain basement price and our company agreed to install it., respecting the fact this client was on a tight budget. This was a product I would not have purchased because it was poor quality. I'm not sure why I would have to warranty a project which I didn't supply the product for. Furthermore the floor was leveled and I have pictures to prove it. The report states that countertops can't be installed on top of flooring when in actual fact this flooring has a fridge, stove, and washer and dryer placed on it. Somehow I guess that is ok. The credibility of the report is suspect to say the least.
To summarize: in the past I have assisted and done several projects for this client at a discounted rate. To say I was always late and untimely is a slap in the face when all I've done is helped you out. Projects such as this was always done over and above our regular service. If I had a gap in my schedule I would work at her home. That way I could keep costs down.I would have fixed her floor but simply didn't have the time, this past summer. Furthermore the flooring issues were caused by poor quality of product. It wasn't installation related.
