I had hired the company for a liner replacement. The team came on time but they were already in a hurry to rush to a different job. The liner was just stuck in the middle of the chimney and I was asked to complete the job by myself. I asked them to please complete the job before leaving but the crew said they will try coming back in a couple of days but they cannot promise anything and charged me 1200$ for a job that was horrible. They also tore my drywall and I'll have to fix that for nothing!. I am deeply hurt by the poor job done and I feel ripped off.

Hi, Praveen.

We are unsure as to why you feel this way and apologize. There are some important details missing in your review.
You called our company looking for us to install a chimney liner and that you already have the parts. We told you we are really busy we would get back to you with a date. You told us it's "important to please come out on Easter Saturday," so we sent a crew to do as we felt you really needed it. when our crew showed up, a few things stood out. One being that we felt you had purchased an aftermarket liner, two being that you had drilled a 6-inch hole through your property foundation. The liner was 6 inches. You were also doing the drywall yourself in the basement and were not even halfway complete. however, we gave it our best shot and explained that we can not do it because the liner isn't fitting correctly, and there's not enough room in the chimney breast for the liner to bend. We told you, you don't owe anything anything we'd rather leave it. You asked us again to please do it. We explained that it's not possible. You told us you could do it and for us to give it our best shot. At this point, our crew was already late for a project. You recommend pushing the stainless steel liner all the way down from the top of the chimney right to the top of the hole, and you were going to get a connecting piece. To get the liner as far down as the chimney you requested, we explained we'd have to remove around 6-8 inches of drywall, and you happily agreed. The liner is not stuck. You know this. We can have our crew come out and remove it whenever you like. That's where you wanted it. We would rather reimburse you your money than have an unhappy customer. once again, we apologize that you feel this way. Our crew was just trying to do as you asked rather than leaving you disappointed.

The job was nicely done. I only wish that he had more time to address many of our requests but Drew did his best to address all possible requests that we had. His quote was reasonable he became my dad's favourite as my dad was impressed by his hard work and focus on the job. Very curious and professional I must say.

Approached E.B.Design and Construction to have the load bearing wall removed in the basement and have it replaced with a steel beam. The work started on-time and was finished professionally. The installation was as per the design and the workmanship was of very good quality. Highly recommend them for any structural related work.
