Valentin got my note late last night and showed up at 11am this morning, diagnosed the issue and explained it to me in simple terms, and explained to how to approach the city about the issue since it’s on their side of the property line. We will likely do work on our side as well and will look to call Strong Plumbing. I will also say that I called Valentin about a separate issue a couple months ago and he gave me free advice of how to fix the issue as he felt I could fix it myself. Very impressed.

Professional Roofers replaced our roof in October 2016. It was time to redo the shingles, but we had a raccoon rip a whole in our roof last fall, which pushed us to do the work. Pro Roofers provided great sales service and timely options so we could get it done before the winter. This year (Feb 2017), the raccoon came back and absolutely destroyed the new shingles, ripping 8 holes in the roof, leading to water coming into our upstairs. When we called professional roofers, they came by quickly to temporary patch the holes before a big snowfall, free of charge. And a week later they came back with the snow gone to finish the job, and gave us a very good repair price. Considering the warranty doesn't cover animal damage (understandable), we were extremely happy with the repair price and the service. Awesome company. Very responsive and cares about their customers in a moment of real urgency.

The AccuServe team (Rahul, Josh, James) were exceptional. Our furnace blew on a day that was -15C. Someone from AccuServe came in that night to assess, gave us both option of repair and replace. We decided to replace because the unit was 15 years old and not worth the cost to repair. The accuserve team ordered the new furnace and within a day and half, they were in our house first thing in the morning starting the work. In addition to replacing the furnace, they fixed a number of small problems with the existing duct and drainage set-up. They were also unbelievable careful and clean. They helped us figure out financing quickly as well. Overall exceptional service and quality of work. I hope we don't have to call them again for years to come(!), but if we do I won't hesitate.

This is the second job Bowerbird has completed for us, the first being an attic Reno. Our home is an old Victorian so the bathroom was very small. Victor and Andrei provided a detailed estimate to redo the entire space, including moving the wall back to add 18" to the overall bathroom size. Once the work began and the floor came up, it was clean the electrical was in bad shape, and have the floor had no subfloor. The tub was essentially sitting on the floor beams. The plumbing was also a mess. Bowerbird cleaned up the entire mess, moved all the plumbing so we could reconfigure the tub without adding very much to the original estimate. They were on time and on budget, with the quality of the finished work outstanding. We will continue to go to them for any future projects.

Rafi from Cosmopolitan showed up on time and did a thorough service on the AC and Furnace. Great customer service. Gave me an explanation of everything,a reheat also to keep an eye out for in the future as both our units are on the older side.

We did a complete attic renovation from scratch, including installation of a new staircase, as well as extra closets. Bowerbird showed up on time for all pre-appointments, provided detailed estimates within 3-4 days as they promised. For the entire project,they communicated daily so there were no surprises, they stayed on timeline and on budget. What sets they apart however is their incredible attention to detail, and the high quality of their finishing. work They are the best contractors we've found in the city and plan to hire them again when we eventually renovate our main bathroom.
