We had dealt with A-1Cement for our driveway years prior. Decided to get our walkway poured..aggregate cement. The guys came out to do our quote and upon agreement, gave us a date. On the day of service, there were several guys out and the work was completed efficiently and completely. A year later, cracks came thru, we placed a call and owner of the company came out to take a look. Said they would take care of the problem and did so without any question.

We wanted to replace our old counters and cabinetry as they were dated. The representative at the store suggested different selections based upon our needs and personal preferences. Lots of options to choose from and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Delivery and installation was 2 weeks later and the guys were very precise with their measurements. One of the granite slabs was not quite right --- we didn't notice but he did. Said he would call it in for the proper sizing and replaced the piece the next day. Cleanup was thorough and they ensured that we were satisfied with their work.

Several computer problems including very slow internet, flashing screen and finally the dimming. Didn't know what to make of it. XingCo was recommended to me by a family member---in the NW part of the city. It is a small, unassuming little place however, the owner J.P. Xing is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He looked at it right away and said that he would do a cleanup on it and give us a call to let us know. A phone call later in day which told us that the viruses had been removed and our computer was as good as new. Would highly recommend!

Jade Stone provided us with excellent service and professionalism. There were no issues at time of delivery, installation and cleanup. We were provided with care and maintenance information and a few tips that we wouldn't have known otherwise.

We had used Imitation Rain in our previous home and decided we would stick with Andrew again. Andrew came out, gave us a full quote, complete with a prompt appointment time. The install was completed quickly and efficiently. Every year, the sprinklers need to be blown out in the fall and in the spring. Andrew comes by to do this for us and leaves the bill in the mail.

We purchased several trees and shrubs from Spruce Lane for our front and backyard. One of the trees that we purchased was a Weeping Caragana. Unfortunately, this one didn't do very well -- as it just didn't thrive. While it didn't die, it was looking very healthy. I called Spruce Lane to let them know of my concern and even before I asked for an exchange they offered to replace the tree with an identical one, the following week. Delivery took place and the tree is doing very well even today.

We required an alarm system set up for our home -- Armax was recommended to us by one of our neighbours. Upon booking an appointment, the security rep came out, provided an evaluation and price quote. We felt that it was very reasonable and agreed to the installation. Upon leaving, we were given all of the important information and a Quick Reference guide for the system. Easy.

Our home has a home theatre installed with the drop down screen/projection system. While the system and several remotes are slick in their appearance...the tech rushed thru operation of the remotes and the countless buttons. A couple of years later, the lamp started to dim and a replacement was required. Called Smartspace....high turnover in staff and no one there had any record of our past dealings. Tech came out and he replaced the bulb but charged us $700 to do so. We didn't have a choice as there was no alternative in the market. Would not recommend.

Our garage door was squealing initially. Over time, the squealing became a grating noise to the point of the door not opening. CD came out and replaced the springtube and lubricated all of the tracks. Service time took about 15 minutes and was completed to our satisfaction.

The ceiling of one of our bathrooms required painting--we had heard of Zion thru the Co-op bulletin board. Frank arrived on time and on schedule. We didn't need to ask to remove shoes, be careful, etc. He was very neat in his appearance, polite and courteous. He brought plenty of drop-cloth for the hallway flooring and all around the bathroom area. Half a day project was completed to our satisfaction and in an excellent manner.

Doug Horsley did our home inspection when we were moving into our new home. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He was incredibly thorough in his inspection. He even pointed out a couple of things that we had no idea about in our home. He took his time to go thru all details and then at the end, he made time to explain any discrepancies that arose. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy/sell their home.

We have a fairly large garden area in our backyard. With our initial move-in to our home, we had a truckload of mulch delivered by SLS. We enquired about the details: cost, volume, and delivery. Once we had booked a time, the truck was out in front of our home with the sprayer intact. The sprayer was taken into the backyard and the mulch was sprayed into the garden. 20 minutes later our garden was complete. We were very happy with the service and professionalism that we had received.

Our longtime washing machine started to slow down and the water wouldn't drain properly from the machine. At the end of the complete cycle, the clothes would still be dripping from the water. We called Daljeet from A Class Appliance. He was very prompt with his service call. Very polite and extremely knowledgeable about various brands and models of appliances. He provided me with a full assessment of the problem and offered a couple of solutions. I was very impressed with Daljeet and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest and professional appliance technician.
