We needed windows replaced in two dormers in our house. We sought quotes and settled on a company owned by a neighbour. The windows were ordered and installed and they are passable. Trim installed inside was unpainted and the installer wasn't the friendliest person we have had in our house. A year or so later, we needed to replace some larger windows at the back of our house. Again we obtained some prices - one of which was from the company we had used previously and another from Eurostar. The difference in their approach to the job was night and day. The first company spent time telling us what they wouldn't or couldn't do and left their price. Jim from Eurostar took time to explain their product, how it worked, the benefits. He explained how they would carefully remove the California shutters and then reinstall them as part of the job. (The first company said that we would have to do that ourselves). Jim left a very competitive quote and followed up by email to see if we had any further questions. We instantly liked him. Who knew that buying windows could be a pleasant experience? He understands customer service and his goal is for you to be happy with the work. The decision was an easy one. The windows were ordered and installed and they still look great. Our next project was our front entrance. We have a double set of doors and assumed the price would be very high. Jim at Eurostar walked us through plenty of options and gave us advice that we felt we could trust. The end result was a stunning set of double doors. Honestly, walking up to the door even a year later is still a pleasant experience. We know what others have paid for similar work and we feel we got a fair price and the installation was perfect. They even installed a ring doorbell for us for free. We have had people walk by and tell us that they love our doors! Our most recent job was the largest and we didn't bother to go anywhere else for pricing. We simply called Jim. We replaced 3 windows on our top floor, a large window in our basement and installed french doors in our walkout to the yard. Again, the product is top notch. The prices were fair. Jim was a pleasure to work with as always - he has a very pleasant personality and great sense of humour. In each of our jobs we have had Dima & Ilya as our installers. They are pleasant to work with, obviously experienced and very meticulous. We have been very pleased with each job. Jim and his team are easy to work with and we would not hesitate to work with them again. We have recommended them to a co-worker who said they had the very same experience.
