We wanted to replace the basement carpet with new laminate flooring. At the Home Depot we got a great deal on thick (13mm) laminate, less that $2 per sq.ft.! Very good price for a good product. Easy to install, amazing results.
Added a bathroom in the basement
When started planning for the project we went to Lowes, and found everything there. From tiles (great ceramic tiles which look like slate), to the vanity, toilet and bath tub. The associate in the plumbing department had helped us with the right faucets - the whole shopping spree took two hours. Great deals, good price, good service.
Purchased special order laminate
We have renovated a laundry room/ mud room, and wanted a clean white appearance. My wife had picked "white washed" laminate which was a special order. It was delivered in a week, half of the time promised, at a good cost. The final result is stunning, thanks to good color match and good materials used for the project.
They had a very short response time, did very good and professional work, as well as coming in at a very competitive price. finished it all in 2 days with 5 guys on the job, and cleaned nicely after the work was done . They have used good quality materials (shingles, felt paper, ice&water membrane) and did not cut corners during the job.
