Mark and his partner John took horrible sliding doors that went from ceiling to floor and converted them into normal height doors. The coat closet is now a beautiful sliding glass double door on tracks, with dark wood trim (door from Rona) and good sized trim painted white, to match the baseboards, all around that door. The linen closet door, previously another floor to ceiling sliding door, was converting into a 6-panel bi-fold door, and as the opening was 38" wide, they framed the opening to accommodate a 36" door. Trim matches all the other doors in the long hallay. They turned two sows' ears into silk purses. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. And they are so easy to work with, making small changes when requested, seeing what we hadn't realized needed to be taken into account, etc. We'd recommend them to anyone who wants pleasant, reliable contractors doing a good job!

Brant Electric couldn't give me an estimate and said they would bill me when the job was completed. I used them because they were very familiar with the condo I lived in. They ended up charging $1,200 and when I asked for an itemized bill, they refused to give me one. I asked why my bill was the same as another condo owner's in same complex and they said they had based my bill on her bill. I said I hadn't had nearly as much done, and would write a letter of complaint to the Condo Management if they didn't itemize and revise the bill. They did revise the bill but refused to itemize it. They also put an outlet in too far out from the wall, so when I had the wall tiled, the outlet projected out. I was very unhappy with the company's manner of handling my upgrade and would not recommend them to anyone.

We had our condo done in two sections, first the front half, and then the other two bedrooms. Price included removal of old wall to wall carpeting throughout, removal of damaged parquet flooring underneath, and installation of new laminate throughout condo, approximately 850 sq. feet. Paul & his team were fantastic, always pleasant, paid great attention to detail, always professional, and we were delighted with the finished effect. We had originally planned to have only the main rooms and one bedroom (ooffice) done, but were so impressed by the result that we had them come back to do the other two other bedrooms. We heard about them from 2 different friends who knew someone who had used them or who had used them themselves, and they were even better than we could have expected. Paul is extremely knowledgeable about flooring, and he and his team pay great attention to detail. The qoute we got was less than that of another big box flooring store, but the quality was probably better. We get so many compliments on our floor when people (and even contractors) come to our home, so that tells us we absolutely made the right choice in choosing Platinum Flooring.
