Two of my washrooms had dual wall switches where one switch controlled both the lights and the exhaust fan and the other switch was a dummy switch (i.e. no function). I wanted these switches separated so that one switch would control the lights and use the other (dummy) switch to turn the exhaust fan on or off. Antonio and his son came and did an amazing job working together to do just that, and even went the extra mile to properly affix the washroom exhaust fans that apparently were not installed properly by a past contractor. They also did a superb job at installing a new outdoor 20A power outlet for my backyard. Antonio is both a knowledgeable and friendly man who takes his time to do his work correctly and has made a satisfied customer. I will definitely be hiring him again for future electric work.

I had a minor water leak on the roof of my house that began causing water damage in my bathroom. After some research, I called Gerry's Roofing and Tim (one of their scheduling managers) booked an appointment for me within the next couple of days to fix this issue. On the day their service technician were scheduled to arrive, this is when my problems with this company began; no one came that day and no one even called to let me know that they wouldn't make it. I called them back and no one there had an explanation of what happened, but I was assured that they would look into it and that I would receive a discount due to their error. So I ended up scheduling another appointment date with Tim and again, the same thing happened: their service technician was a no-show and no one even gave me a call to let me know the technician wouldn't be able to make it on that day. This kind of customer service is unacceptable! I called them back and let them know my frustration with this situation. I'm a fair person and understand that a technician might not be able to make it on the scheduled date for good reason, but it's not unreasonable to expect at least a call letting me know they can't make it and to reschedule the appointment. Eventually, they did send a service technician (Norm) by the next day and he was great to deal with and it appears that he fixed the leak on my roof. Nevertheless, it took almost 3 weeks to finally get them to send someone, and that was only because I called them many times to follow up since no one called me when the technician never showed up on the scheduled day. To make matters worse, they never gave me a discount on the service and ended up charging me the full amount, which was contrary to what I was assured. I called them again to express my disappointment on the lack of a discount and still, to this day a few weeks later, no one from Gerry's has called me back to address this as I was promised. Due to this lack of basic customer service, I will no longer be doing business with this company in the future and recommend no one else does either.

Miran we are sorry to hear that you weren't pleased, however we tried calling you multiple times on multiple occasions to let you know that because of the winter weather it was unsafe to go on your roof on certain days.
