We had the best experience working with BAX, especially Louie, the designer. From the moment we met Louie (when he came to do the initial consultation and measurements at our house), we knew he was the perfect person to design and build our dream kitchen. I showed him pictures of non-negotiable, key features of my kitchen, the material I was looking, the colour theme, the feel I was going for, and he understood right away (I interviewed several other millwork/custom cabinetry places and they did not understand the style nor did they have the knowledge to achieve the look I was going for). The other companies only knew how to do typically cookie-cutter kitchens/style. I was torn between a transitional kitchen versus a modern, sleek minimalistic kitchen. Louie was amazing enough to provide TWO renderings within a week trust me, the renderings were very realistic and professionally done compared to other companies out there. And the rendering looked EXACTLY like how it turned out!! Ultimately, we chose to do a modern, sleek, minimalistic design. We made several revisions at first via email (all done within a timely manner) and we saw Louie two more times in person to make final revisions. While we were at the office, Louie was patient and very skilled as he made changes immediately on the computer for us to see. He made really good suggestions when it came to designing certain parts of our kitchen, which I didnt even think about in terms of making it more functional yet more aesthetically appealing. You can tell Louie has a gift when it comes to design and hes been doing it for a long time and his attention to detail is on point! When it came to choosing the stain colour for our wood, I was very indecisive with the stain colour, but Louie was amazing and provided multiple stain colour choices until we got the colour PERFECT. He was patient and had a sense of humour even though I was going insane nit picking on each shade of the stain. Pretty sure I was one of his most difficult clients to work with, haha! The cabinets were delayed by 1 week but thats expected with renovations and they did keep us updated along the way which was great! Once the cabinets were installed, we did run into a few minor issues (some werent even their problem but my general contractors doing). Louie and his company BAX were responsive in making sure these little things were fixed for us and never complained. They were courteous and provided excellent customer service even after the job was complete. There is no doubt BAX is the best custom cabinetry company Ive ever worked with. They respect timelines, they are detail oriented, provide amazing customer service, their sense of design is excellent, and the quality of workmanship & material is by far the best Ive seen (Ive seen a lot of custom-built houses and renovated houses throughout the GTA due to the nature of my work and can attest this). Ive already referred Louie to my friend and hes working on their kitchen design right now. I will continue to refer my clients and friends to them! THANK YOU, LOUIE (and Bax)!!!
