I contacted VIP Paving and Nathan (owner) clearly explained the details of the process to excavate and re-pave our driveway. We felt his quote was fair based on the quality of asphalt they use. There was good communication and Nathan was available to answer our questions before and after the job. We are happy with our newly paved driveway.

We required shades for new patio doors that we ordered. We stumbled onto Budget Blinds and Aaron reached out to me to discuss our needs. Aaron was very patient with all our questions and thoroughly replied to our many emails and phone calls. He brought us samples on several occasions so we would be certain of our fabric and style choices. We felt so confident in Aaron’s expertise and the quality of his products that we ended up ordering shades for 8 other windows. His installer, John, was very friendly and professional. We are extremely happy with our all new shades!

I hired Daves Ducts to clean our ducts after a full home renovation. Appt booking was easy and flexible. Mark called shortly before to notify me of his arrival. He was friendly and professional, explained to us the process. He was neat and tidy as well as careful moving around our home with his equipment. He showed us before and after pictures. He gave us advice on how often we should expect to clean our ducts and gave us tips on how to check if it would be needed or not. We would definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them to others.

We had a problem with a clogged/slow drain and Angelo was sent by Enercare (we have their plumbing protection plan). The drain was a relatively easy fix for him and he was neat and tidy, laying down plastic covering on the floor and wearing booties over his workboots. During his visit, I noticed a leak from the work of another technician who came the day before. While Angelo was fixing that leak, he noticed a problem with the way our water softener was connected and corrected that problem. That was over and above what he needed to do and I really appreciated his extra efforts.

We normally never purchase protection plans but for some reason, I agreed to their promotional offer for their plumbing protection plan as I was booking an appt with a CSR for an unrelated matter. As luck would have it, shortly afterwards we needed a plumber for a water issue (no hot water). Their plumber Jim came and spent 2 hours finding the source of our problem. He was determined from the start to fix the problem and he did. Our annual fee definitely paid for itself and with an older home, we will definitely continue with this service plan. Note: we were informed that not all services are covered by this plan but thankfully, what we needed done was covered.

I was hesitant to use this company because of all the bad reviews I read about them on HomeStars. However, they had the best price on the Bosch dishwasher I wanted. I called the showroom and asked if they had the exact dishwasher model in stock. The gentleman (Mike) told me they did and confirmed the price. I told him I would go and pick it up myself (to avoid the delivery hassle that others seemed to have experienced). He asked for a deposit over the phone but I told him I wasn't comfortable doing that. So he put through the order as COD and gave me an order number. I went directly to the warehouse, paid for the dishwasher and had it loaded into my van. It was a quick and easy experience and I got the dishwasher I wanted for a very good price. I had never heard of this company before but after I bought my dishwasher, I found out my neighbour also bought a Bosch dishwasher from them recentlty without any hassle (not sure about his delivery situation) and another friend who used them years ago without incident.

Adam, Laura and Lavar were wonderful to deal with. Patient with all our questions. Thorough in their explanations. Very neat and tidy considering the work done. Accommodating with our schedule. Their price was within range of other quotes we received. Followed up once the work was done to make sure we had no outstanding issues.
