Anytime Movers were able to move us out to BC in spite of changing dates, and relatively short notice. Kyna and her team packed up our house in little over a day which was a huge time and stress saver for us, and Max and his team drove out and moved our furniture as promised. Throughout the process Max, Kyna and team were so polite, professional and hardworking. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone looking to move.

Lucky granite installed a quartz countertop and island for us. I approached 3 companies for the same quartz, and Lucky Granite was very competitively priced. Throughout the whole process of providing a quote, the playing and the installation, their whole team have been a pleasure to work with. Our room was not quite square however the countertop fits snugly. Our counter top measures 18 feet long however the single seam is very difficult to spot. Our island measures 7 foot and 4 foot, and is a beautiful single slab. Great job Lucky Granite!!

I contacted 3 plumbing companies, and decided to hire Day & Knight based on their Homestar reviews. I have found the reviews to be entirely justified. Day and Knight had to complete the work in two stages; they (Ted, and Austin) were v responsive, professional, prompt and provided excellent value for money. I'd most definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Their final cost was almost 2/3 LESS than what was quoted to me by one of their competitors!

After discovering water in our utility room, we called Andrew who was able to come the next morning at 6am with a replacement water tank. Andrew was polite, professional, transparent on the costs, and we were astounded by his level of service. He and his business partner, Manon also dealt with the water tank manufacturer to arrange a credit under the warranty! We called Andrew back out again a few days later to repair a leaking toilet, and received the same excellent level of service.

$1,500.00

Maxgreen installed triple glazing windows and backdoors on the ground floor of our bungalow. They were very professional from start to finish, and made a couple of suggestions to save us a few $$$. We experienced a little glitch, but Chase did a great job in following to resolution , as well as re-installed our shutters afterwards. Chase, Chris and Jordan were our installers, and worked non-stop, and cleaned up afterwards. How a contractor deals with problems and works with the customer to address them is very important to me, and Maxgreen got 10/10 for this. I would definitely recommend them.

Hi Sylvia, Thank you for taking time to share your experience with the HomeStars.com community. Unfortunately there are many horror stories in the renovation business about contractors promising the World, failing to deliver, and being very difficult to work with on an acceptable resolution to even meet their customer's most basic requirements. When dealing with large investments to your personal home, the stakes are huge. A terrible experience can actually cost you more overall by having to pay somebody else to fix the initial mistakes, not to mention the time, aggregation, and stress that comes with it. We are the first to admit that not 100% of projects go perfectly without a glitch along the way. There are so many moving parts and variables in the window, door, and siding replacement business. However, as you said, we are committed to dealing with any glitches and working WITH our valued customer to find a great solution and put a smile on their face while eliminating the stress that sometimes comes with things not going perfectly right off the bat. We then look to the root cause of the glitch and figure out what system or process we need to implement internally to ensure that it never happens again. We are committed to learning as much as we can about our products and services from our customers to ensure that we can provide the best possible, stress-free experience. Above all, the entire MAXgreen team believes that you should NOT have to be inconvenienced to ensure a LEAK-PROOF and COMFORTABLE home. You should always FEEL GREAT about your experience, and about having done GOOD for our local community through our MAXcommunity Charitable Giving Program. Thanks again Sylvia for pointing out that how a contractor works with their customers to ensure glitches are resolved in a timely and effective manner is an extremely important indication of the commitment of the contractor to their customers. Cheers, Adam

Geoff and his team completed significant regrading of our front and rear garden to address drainage issues, as well as installed a pathway, patio, sidewalk and a natural rock wall to create a tiered rear garden. They worked together like a well oiled machine, and started very early in the day typically by 7.30am. Geoff promised he'd have the project completed before the frosts and he kept his word. The quality of work is excellent, and has totally transformed the curb appeal of our home.

We purchased our home in Willow Park end 2011. The house required extensive renovation to update the structure and the complete interior. Added to this, I was still based in Toronto. I met with Vaughan and Brent who turned up on time, were very professional and REALLY LISTENED. I've renovated numerous houses over the past few decades and would rate Wallace and Fleming as the best I've ever worked with. The contract was very detailed and costs fully broken out. Vaughan and I communicated via email, and phone for most of the project as I was still based in Toronto and came out to Calgary on a monthly basis. Like any big project there were a number of issues which cropped up during the renovation; however, Vaughan dealt with my concerns fairly and promptly, and any agreed changes were fully documented. As the project progressed I'd get regular updates (including photos) from Vaughan and if I called him, he'd either answer straightaway or call me back within 1 business day. I travel a great deal and was not able to be on site as often as I'd like, so it was wonderful to have a contractor I could trust. All of Vaughan's team were polite and professional and on completion, left the house in good order. I got quotes from one other contractor whose price was very close to Wallace and Fleming. If I had to renovate again, I'd work with Vaughan and his team in a heartbeat.
