Oleg and his guys were on time, considerate, efficient, did great work and finished the whole project in a day. They kept the work area clean and tidy at all times. Because our tree blocked the area for dumping the old roofing projects, they used our neighbour's driveway and cleaned up everything there perfectly. The new roof covering and the chimney and skylight flashings are all well installed and look ready to last a long time. Could not be happier with Best Flat Roof.

Kevin and Cory did what other masons said was impossibleinstalling a wide new lintel to open up two windows into one big one, without removing all the bricks above. The mortar style of our bricks is very difficult to copy, so without their ingenuity, talent and attention to detail, we probably would have had to re-brick the whole front of the house. They were on time, efficient and took real care of our place, too. From start to finish, Kevin and Cory were professional, thoughtful, tidy, and communicative. Sorry to all the other masons out there, but as long as there is a Magnacor, theyll have our business!

Adel got to us the day after we called, which was great because we had guests arriving later in the week. Richard came and thoroughly cleaned our big sofa bed, removing the difficult stains we had called about and making the sofa look terrific. All so easy and all So Clean! We will call them anytime we need some upholstery cleaned.

We replaced two windows in the mansard of our very old and not very square house. Wray and Ricardo did a great job on the install. The windows look great. We were especially impressed with the respect and care they showed throughout, making the minimum mess possibly and cleaning up 100 per cent at the end. We’ve had workers in who have taken a different approach. Highly recommend this company.

A small aluminum siding job on the second storey, just a couple hundred square feet in all and some eavestrough work. They gave a good quote, honored the quote, showed up when they said they would, stayed until the job was done, and cleaned up completely at the end. All of which is simply expected. What wasn't expected: after the job was done, I noticed a couple of minor dents in the aluminum. The owner, Gary, came by to inspect and insisted things be made right. Said the dents had been made by the workers ladder. He had the guys come back, strip the job completely and start from scratch. I thought it was too much given the small number of dents, but he insisted that the job had to be done right. I have never seen this commitment to quality. Customer for life.

At first we were very impressed with this company. We had a lot of drywall replaced on the first floor as we remodeled our space. Starting on Tuesday August 6, Dan and his partners worked quickly and efficiently on getting the drywall up. The taping and mudding took longer, as it should, and the result on first appearance was really good. But after the job was done, and we got to the painting phase, we found many uneven patches on the walls, a lot of "pores" in the mud that were too big to fill with paint and a couple of the electrical boxes were not drywalled close enough, meaning the switch cover didn't mask the holes in the wall. We had to do patching and re-filling, which we should not have had to do. Not a terrible job, but not a great job either. Added November 5 2013: I feel I must reply to the comments of the company below. They appear to have forgotten doing work at our house! The work was done in the week of July 27. I'll attach a picture of one of the drywallers, in the hopes it will help the company remember the job. As they did not provide a receipt for the job, they probably don't have a record of it. I stand by my comments on the job. On the basis of the company's response I have downgraded my satisfaction/recommendation rating to zero. As for the e-mails, mine were certainly not nasty in any way. Here they are: Nov 1 to danielveilleux Hi Daniel-- It's Doug Earl at (address). We bought and installed a fireplace now and have boxed it in. Need a mudder to finish it off. Can you help? What do you think this would cost? (See photo attached.) Thanks, Doug Daniel Veilleux Nov 1 to me Hi Doug, My Finishers are very busy right now, you will have to find someone else, unless you can wait a few weeks. Regards, Daniel Doug Earl Nov 1 to Daniel Okay, anyone you can recommend? d Daniel Veilleux Nov 1 to me No, the only ones I deal with are mine, I do not know anymore. I hope you find a good one to help you out. Daniel Doug Earl Nov 1 to Daniel V. surprised at your reluctance to entertain repeat business. I know it's a small job, though so probably not worth your while. Why don't you give me the number of one of your mudders and I can see if he might be interested in this small job in his spare time? What do you think? thx Doug No reply received.

I do not know why you are lying, I have never done work for you. I received an email from you on November 1st, 2013 asking me for a finisher for a fireplace, I have never hung drywall for you let alone have a finisher come in, I have all your emails requesting the phone numbers of my finishers for you to personally contact them which is something I do not do is give their phone numbers out when I do not even know who you are. I explained to you how busy we are right now and you sent me a few nasty emails which I still have and do not know why you got so upset because I did not drop everything for you, it was not even a request to hang any drywall so why are you putting it on here as we replaced a lot of drywall on the first floor, it is a shame that people like you get angry and can write whatever they want just because they get an attitude with me when I did not even work for you and write things that are not true.

I've had many electricians over the years. Java Electric is now my electrician for life. Antonio replaced our living room and kitchen pot lights, plus re-wired and added new outlets, switches, fixtures, etc. He did great work. Showed up when he said he would, stuck to the price he quoted, took great care not to cause unnecessary damage when fishing cable and made sure to clean up at the end of the day. He's also an honest and personable guy. One of the things I appreciated greatly was his insistence that his work be inspected by the electrical authority. Highly, highly recommended.

Armando is angry and abusive. He'd rather scream at you than listen to you. He swore at me and called me filthy names on the phone. He yelled at and hung up on my wife. Here's the story: Our property manager hired him to do a window repair at our house while we were overseas. Probably through a breakdown in communication, he didn't replace a broken slider. We paid him in full. When we moved back in we asked him to come back and just fix the slider. Because he doesn't listen, and because he expects the worst out of any situation, he somehow got the idea we wanted him to do it for free. Nothing we said to the contrary would convince him we were willing to pay. He hung up. When we called back, he said: "Lose this number, a**h***!" I wouldn't hire this guy to pick up after my dog. If you have him come anywhere near your home, you will wish you didn't.
