I recently had Mr Stucco come in to repair some plaster walls in my house. The biggest job was repairing the plaster where we previously had a wall mounted air conditioner installed. We also had them repair cracks in the plaster in our stairwell and some water damaged plaster on our bedroom ceiling. This company was amazing! The crew of two came in right at 8:30am and they were done by 1pm. They repaired the damaged plaster perfectly and left the house as clean as it was before they came. I was beyond thrilled. The only caution I would give is that one of the products they use does leave quite a smell so we had to keep the windows open for a few days to air the house out. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing to repair plaster in their house.

I hired this company based on the reviews on homestars. I don't usually write negative reviews but I feel compelled to based on the numerous issues I experienced. The job itself took six months to complete, months longer than it should have. After receiving the first design for approval, I went into the showroom to discuss and revise the design with my sales consultant. I thought I was making the process quick and easy by making this effort to physically come in for a discussion. This visit proved a waste a time as the next design that came through didn't reflect our discussion. I had to return to the showroom to discuss the design and this time I met with the true designer on staff and we came up with a design that everyone was comfortable with. While the design phase was bad, the install process was even worse. Before the install began, it was suggested to us that the cabinetry would be installed in one day. On the day our installation was scheduled for, the installer didn't arrive until 3pm. He didn't finish that day (not surprisingly). He came out two additional days, each for a few hours at a time and sadly always when my son was trying to nap!! We found out that the installer was terminated by Lancaster sometime after our job. The panels in our doors needed repainting and couldn't be installed with the cabinetry. We were told it would be another week to get the doors back from the painter. It would end up be another month before Lancaster would return with the doors to finish the job. If that wasn't enough, we had to have another company come out to measure and then install the stone around the fireplace. On the day they were scheduled to come, they didn't show up and they didn't have the decency to call to say they weren't coming. Talk about bad service!!! I wish I could say it was all worth it but the final job isn't great. Despite the work done by Lancaster to measure the space before the design was drafted, the fireplace isn't centered relative to where the original fireplace was and so it doesn't line up with the tile detail on the floor. We also had requested they use a material in the door panels that would allow a remote signal would pass through. This concept was understood by Lancaster but unfortunately the delivered product doesn't function very well so we have to open the cabinetry doors when using the remote. I think everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong and I wish I had another company for this job.

I have hired numerous companies to do jobs in my house over the last 5 years. None has impressed me more than Belyea Bros Limited. With a crew of three, they completed the job with minimal disruption and they cleaned up every day before they left. This was huge as I was home with a baby while the work was being done. What made this company really stand out though was their response to my concerns after the job was in theory complete. They came out at my request within a day and spent another half day to add another run to the system, which fixed the noise issue I had raised with them. I had the system installed in April and have had the pleasure of air conditioning all summer long. Thank you Belyea Brothers!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Arthur and his crew for numerous different jobs including waterproofing our flat garage roof and front porch, replacing our eavestroughs and finally re-shingling our roof. Their pricing is fair, the work is done to a high quality and they always do a great job cleaning up after the work is done. I would highly recommend this company and I thank them for their great work.

I had procrastinated on replacing the screen on a window of my house for 5 years thinking it would be impossible to find a company willing to take on such a small job. To keep bugs out, I literally did not open this window for years! After finding Doctor Screen on Homestars, I reached out and immediately heard back from Greg. Not only was intial reponse very quick but he was able to offer up appointment times within the same week. With the heat we were experiencing, this was a hugely positve for me. Seeing as they were already coming, we also had this company look at replacing the screen on our patio door as we had some damage from cats clawing at it. They new window screen frame was built and installed and the patio door screen replaced in a few hours hours. The cost and service were great and I wish I had found this company sooner!

I was renovating the basement of my 80 year old and I knew custom cabinetry would complete my design vision. I found Mulligan Woodworking using Homestars and they exceeded all my expectations. Right away, this company was the only one to provide a design concept with their quote. From there, Ioana was amazing in working with me to finalize the exact design I had envisioned. Michael then did an amazing job working with the less square dimensions of my very old house to ensure the installed product looks perfect. I hired this company to build an entertainment wall in my family room, understair storage and closets in my mudroom as well as a vanity for my very small bathroom. When people see my cabinetry, they are blown away. They are beautiful and functional. I can't wait to hire this company again to do more cabinetry in other parts of my house.

We hired Amazing Windows Fashions after having a great at-home consultation with Alex. they were slightly more expensive than a quote I received from a competitor but I wanted to reward this company for their great service and design support. Unfortunately, I didn't find the rest of service experience as exceptional. I was told I would be contacted once the shutters had arrived. After waiting two months, I followed up twice via email and received no response. When I finally called, I found out the shutters had arrived and they were happy to schedule an installation. When the installation day came, they came earlier than my appointment so I wasn't home. They completed the install which was great but they didn't clean up after the installation which was disappointing as there was quite a bit of dust and debris. I love the shutters but I think those hiring this company should ensure that cleanup after installation is included in their contract language.

I hired Oborne Contracting Inc to complete a basement overhaul on my 80 year old house as they gave me the greatest confidence that they knew what do to achieve a quality result that would stand the test of time. The true test of this company's commitment came a year after my renovation was over and I saw water leaking out from under the tiles into my furnace space. Within a few short hours, I heard from Jeff who was my day-to-day foreman. Jeff came out the following morning at 7am to diagnose the source of the water. Luckily for me, the water was coming from a recently installed washing machine and had nothing to do with my in floor radiant heating system. Having a quality renovation is important but the post renovation I received is what makes this company exceptional.
