Calvin did an excellent job of removing old cement and replacing the sidewalk and installing composite steps and porch. This required some creative solutions on this old house. The result was a very professional and solid installation. Calvin had some very good ideas for keeping costs down and solving problems as they arose. His extensive experience and strong work ethic showed.

This company gave the best price contract out of four estimates for a bungalow and double garage. The work was competent and courteous. The set-up for my rain barrel was done simply and effectively without added charge. I liked the e-mail estimate, scheduling and billing and e-transfer payment - neat and efficient and easy to keep track. If you like high end solutions ($$$) and have more gizmos and fussy bits, you may want one of the bigger companies.

The power was off in part of my house for no discernible reason - that is, the breaker was not off. The electrician came and did a very logical thorough diagnostic to figure out what was causing the outage. It was very surprising source - a badly wired light fixture in a room that was not affected by the outage! He took down the heavy fan/light fixture and corrected the wiring. He also changed a light bulb in another difficult to access fixture.During the diagnostic he noted some safety concerns ( ungrounded outlets and reverse polarities) so that I can now proceed with some routine maintenance. I will use Professional electrical again to do a complete safety check and improvements.

A n efficient and focused crew of two young men came and cleaned the gutters and washed the exterior windows quickly and well. They had to contend with a short sharp thunderstorm in the middle of things and did so with good humour. They were able to report to me on the condition of my gutters and roof when they were done, which was very useful to me as I no longer get up on ladders. The company gave a discount for multiple services done at the same time. I will use them again and recommend to friends and family.

First the salesperson did a crackerjack job of explaining the options and gave tips for maximizing my savings. The estimator was very knowledgeable, then Mark I. and Jamie B. came and did a great job of replacing the furnace and creating a solution for the fitting of bits into an old house. I was consulted at every step or change, no matter how minor. They were polite, fast and cleaned the mess. They also passed along observations about my roof, attic insulation etc. that were very helpful as it is difficult for me to get up there to see for myself.
