We recently bought a property that needed major updates on the main floor and complete renovation of the basement. We wanted to be compliant to the citys building, renovation, and zoning requirements. As such, we were very particular that whoever we engaged for the contract has the capability and experience in delivering what is required while at the same time be able to ensure compliance. After doing extensive research and receiving quotes from several contractors (some of whom we have already dealt with in the past), we decided to engage Level Up Consulting Group. From the very first meeting with Michael (owner), we felt comfortable even though we had no prior relationship. He was very transparent, giving us a detailed quote with several options, and guiding us through the pros and cons of each. This enabled us to decide on the best option that will meet our requirements and budget. He formalized the quote with a contract protecting our mutual interests, set reasonable timelines, and assured us of the quality delivery that his company is proud of. Then came the exciting part, meeting and discussing with the Engineer (for the building plans/permits) and the Designer for the interior plans/design). Both were very professional and knowledgeable. They were instrumental in translating our vision into actual plans and design documents that passed the citys approval and paved the way for start of the work. Michaels construction crew worked efficiently and knew their craft. Each job process seamlessly transitioned to the next until the entire project was completed. As with any construction project, there were some minor hiccups along the way, but Michael managed our expectations well in the process and ensured issues were addressed to our satisfaction. One thing that stands out with Michael, aside from his expert project management and solid company reputation of providing quality service, is his trustworthiness. He is truly a man of his word, a man of integrity. We were glad we found him.
