It was a big job. We bought a house with neglected crawlspace with varied height (max 0.5m) which required substantial cleaning and putting insulation. Cleaning was done within a day; all loose insulation foils, some trash and an animal carcass. The next session was a few months later due to them being busy and some delays. These sounded like legitimate reasons for delay, although the third and fourth time reschedules weren't too nice. Preparing and insulating took 3 days. Guys that came over were solid. I haven't inspect everything in details but what I've seen looks good.

It started with Kelly (only point of contact) explaining that my request (installing vent over bathroom) is beyond them and they don't do this usually but could give it a try. Mood changed a bit when I mentioned that I might also do AC and that there are a few other things. To give it a try someone would have to come first and do their own estimation. Just for the visit - without any work - it would be $180. If we went with it then that would've been deducted from the final bill. Never before was I asked to pay just for an estimate without guarantee that they'd even start the work; they could've quoted any price to weasel out. Given their reviews I hesitantly believed them. We set date in 2.5 weeks. Through this time I've been contacted regularly about payments and making sure that I pay. On the day, Trevor came in expecting to look only at the AC; was surprised about the vent. He didn't even receive the photos I was asked to do when describing my queries. It ended up him only taking the same photos, except those that I took from the attic. The visited wasn't necessary at all. He left saying that estimate/report will be created within a couple of days. After 3 working days I've called to ask for status - no idea. After week since visit - Kelly mentioned that someone has died in Trevor's family - my condolences but he should reach out to me shortly. After a week and 3 business days Kelly said that she'll contact him and call me in few hours or tomorrow the latest. After 2 weeks I had enough and told them that I demand refund. I'm a human and I understand when people are going through tough times. But shouldn't the company help when their employee is going through tough times rather than blame him for delays? Kelly was calling me daily when there were problems with payment. Once they got payment, I received a few emails suggesting that I should recommend them to my friends and to give them top marks. I fully doubt legitimacy of this business. Hopefully that's just incompetence. Wasted over a month without having a ventilation in bathroom in an old house.
