I strongly DO NOT recommend Appliance Genie Repair and Service and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I hired Appliance Genie Repair and Service to fix the igniter on a gas oven. They required about $130 to come look to diagnose the issue and confirm it was an igniter issue. They followed up with a simple repair quote of $800. This seemed outrageously high so I asked for an itemized quote which was as follows: - $245 for the igniter - $400 for labour - $145 for a second man - Plus some other minor stuff For a total of $800 :o After a bit of research and DIY I was able to repair my oven with an igniter I sourced online for $100 and 45 minutes of my time.
