I purchased beautiful double front doors for my home 5 years ago. Recently, I was having trouble getting the bolt lock to open or close. The bolt was not aligning with the hole. I called Canadian Choice Windows and Doors and they sent a service man out in a short time. Jason fixed the problem within 10 minutes. I am very happy with my doors and with the service I received.

I was very happy the day I found John-luc on HomeStars. He and his wife Sandra are a pleasure to deal with. They are very knowledgeable as well as being very friendly and hard working. Being very satisfied with a few small jobs they did for me, I had no hesitation about asking them to do a complete basement renovation. The basement had been flooded in 2013 and I was left with concrete floors, 1/2 walls of drywall and my bathroom looked like the contractors who cleaned out the basement used a sledgehammer. I cannot express how happy I was when John-Luc completed the basement. He had made some small changes when putting up the drywall which left me with more space. There was an ugly support pole in the basement and now it is a lovely column. John-luc and Sandra always let me know what the next step in the reno was and offered advise and recommendations for accessories. They are hard workers and would stay late some days to make sure that everything was done perfectly. They are very considerate and always cleaned and tidied up their work space at the end of the day. I have recommended them to a friend and she is also very satisfied. I will continue to use their services and to recommend them to all my friends.

I discovered that water from the upstairs bathroom was leaking into my laundry room. Having not used contractors very often, I was nervous about who to hire. I am so glad that John-luc was available to help. He and his team were very friendly and knowledgeable. They explained what they had to do and showed me every step. While they were there, I asked questions about other issues I noticed around the house and they were able to fix all those problems as well. When given the bill, I asked Sandra to recheck her figures because I could not believe the cost was so reasonable. I am planning to have them back to do some outside work whenever they are available. I have other projects in mind for the future as well. I would highly recommend them to others.

I had 9 windows replaced in my home. The salesman, Anthony, was very friendly but I wish he had given me a bit more information about the product I was buying. He showed me all the nice pictures of how my windows would look. The trim around every window and some of the frames all have stains, scratches and gouges in them. I bought slider windows. It was explained to me that the glass was self-cleaning. What wasn't explained was that there are holes in the bottom of the screen frames for the water to drain out and they are large enough for flies and insects to crawl through. One of the screens had a hole in it and it took almost 3 months to get it replaced.

I was pleased with the work that was done. The workers were punctual and friendly. They explained to me what they were doing and they cleaned up the area after they were done. Their work came with a 25 year warranty on workmanship and labour. I would recommend them to my friends.
