After the carpet in our rental unit was damaged due to a pet we decided to purchase a tight woven neutral carpet from end of the roll and have a friend install it. The carpet was fro 800 square feet of space and it looked beautiful, expensive and has helped up wonderfully over the past year. The price was also a deal for that quality of carpet.
My partner and I had to fix up a rental unit and decided to try out woodopolis after running into the owner's wife and feeling like this was a really honest family business that we wanted to support. The selection they have is great and we couldn't be more please with the new hardwood floors that were put in for the tiny 500 square foot space.
We hired this company to paint a bedroom and found the service and the quality of workmanship sorely disappointing. Additionally, all these specials are promoted but once they come everything cost more, for example, the cutting. After this experience we decided to save the money and paint the rest of the rooms ourselves.
I purchased a new stove and fridge from the Sears outlet as it worked out to be the best price around. However, two things made this experience quite poor for me. The first is that the delivery men were unprofessional and intimidating. They fought and bickered the whole time and one of them got angry and banged his hand and actually got blood on the fridge and floor. It was terrible. Secondly, after less than a year the fridge started leaking. Very disappointing.
