They came the next day after I phoned them, within the indicated time range, and quite quickly identified the problem (an igniter that had too low amperage so needed to be replaced) and did the repair. They also gave us good advice (for a gas stove) about ALWAYS running the fan when we use either the burners or the oven, both to avoid overheating and possibly burning out the circuit board, and to avoid carbon monoxide buildup.

Raul came in today when he said he would. He clearly explained what he was going to do, did it in an efficient manner, and showed me before and after videos of the work (clearly taken in our house!). He also gave us what seemed like good reasonable advice about how often to do duct cleaning and also how we could clean our dryer vent ourselves. We were very pleased with the service from Danforth Carpet Connection, who put in carpet on our basement main-room floor and stairs. Tony helped us choose the carpet, measured the space (which is quite irregularly shaped!), and gave us a quote. When the installer came, Tony was there to check at the start of the job, and later again at the end of it, to make sure we were happy. The installer did a good job. We were pleased with the whole process, and will certainly go back again if we have further carpet or flooring needs. It's great that this is a local business and Tony provides more hands-on supervision than a big-box store.
