Dale (True North Concrete Cutting and Coring) spent a good deal of time discussing and solutioning for the concrete cutting & window well dimensions in order to install a basement egress casement window. Dale was knowledgeable, patient, helpful and supportive throughout. Dale helped outline the scope, process and permitting requirements. This project was delayed twice (on our end) and on both occassions, Dale demonstrated a great deal of flexibility in adjusting for the rescheduling of his crew. Dale went so far as to have his team fashion a temporary plywood rough opening cover until the window could be installed by a different company 3 days later. The window well and concrete cutting worked out very well, followed by a successful window installation. After speaking with 3 different companies, we felt most comfortable with Dale's customer service, flexibility and competitive pricing.

From Reception (Judy) to carpet cleaner (Ivan, 22 years hands-on experience), fantastic service, shared their knowledge, excellent carpet cleaning results with spot remover application, excellent value overall. Carpet cleaned family room, living and dining rooms, staircase, hallway and master bedroom. Ivan spent more than 1.5 hours and worked very hard (quite a workout for him). Ivan is friendly, attentive, detail oriented, hard working, careful, and has clear pride of workmanship throughout.

2002 hot water tank failed on a Sunday. Alif (who previously installed BBQ NG line and converted 120 V to 220 V for induction range) called 8:30 am Monday after returning from Vancouver on Sunday. He worked with us to determine the hot water tank best for our needs, called from supplier to confirm make and model and dropped it off later morning ready for install later Monday. Dean and Alif returned that afternoon and were knowledgeable, efficient, and tidy in their clean-up. Excellent service, friendly, attention to details after assessing our our needs. Got a great hot water tank: Bradford White 50 US gal with 65,000 BTU 79% efficient EnergyStar rating and First Hour Delivery of 69 US gal with 8 year warranty. Very competitive fixed price after price checking 3 other companies.

Problem: small, slow leak in natural gas BBQ line, we self-identified and ATCO confirmed. In addition to rectifying slow leak, we requested that "y-splitter" natural gas terminal end be replaced by a single line running from under bay window to deck and up to deck elevation (to avoid having to descend deck steps, walk across garden and turn on natural gas valve under bay window). Alif Babul (Master Plumber/Owner) was extremely friendly, pleasant, understanding, patient and customer-focused. I sent him photos of the project before he quoted, we discussed quote and plan and then he arrived and went through details again just to make sure we were on the same page. He was the only company to offer: new materials only, applying for the permit, pressure testing the line, and having it fastened securely by installing a stainless steel box as protection from the harsh Calgary weather. Excellent installation, very reasonable pricing (especially compared to other companies who quoted), friendly and hard-working. Just an excellent experience over-all. Congratulations Alif.

From the moment I pressed the garage door opener and realized it wouldn't go up because the spring had snapped, to the moment the garage door was completely installed by Darcy, was a total of 24 hours. I spoke with Rick in Sales Monday morning and he was a great listener, understanding, accommodating and understood the sense of urgency in replacing the door. Our requested standard Steelcraft door was in stock and they arranged to have it supplied and installed the next morning. Darcy, the installer, was also excellent: friendly, humble, perfectionist, knowledgeable, efficient and a straight shooter. The overall experience was just excellent from beginning to end, including the price after having shopped around at 3 other garage companies. I would highly recommend Glenmore Door Services!

I cannot say enough about Westridge Electric and their entire team. I have written reviews elsewhere that were a little tough on the contractor, but I am so pleased to highly recommend Westridge Electric. They are professional, diligent, knowledgeable, attentive, customer service oriented, cooperative, efficient, and reasonably priced. We had aluminum in our house and investigated a new method of copper pig-tailing (copalum) with our existing aluminum and installing new Decora light switches, LEDs, and outlets. They load-tested the house, remediated one stapled and pinched wire, pig-tailed throughout the house and replaced our aging and overloaded electrical panel. In summary, Westridge Electric (Bob, the manager, and Dustin the primary installer) were a pleasure to work with all along.
