We paid a deposit of $6,250 for two gas fireplaces with a proposed installation in December 2021. The fireplace shipment was delayed due to supply chain issues during COVID and had still not been delivered when we sold our home in February 2022. We recommended Corey to the purchasers of our home because he told us he had already taken obtained the installation permit (which we never saw) which would be advantageous for the buyers, but they elected not to proceed. In early March we requested a return of our deposit, which Corey agreed to refund. The fireplaces had still not arrived. Since that time we have made numerous requests and have received an equal number of "cheque is in the mail" empty promises. Of the $6,250 promised to us we have received a grand total of $500.00. We do NOT recommend this business or individual.
