Since the July 2013 storm we have lived in fear of a sewage flooded basement.. but not anymore. Walter and his crew from Drain Express just finished installing a Backwater Valve and an additional drain near our hot water heater. I wished we had have done it sooner. What I thought was going to be a huge mess with digging a hole in the basement floor turned out to be no big deal and very little disruption. Extremely tidy, efficient and so respectful and polite. Top that off with a $1250 rebate from the city (Walter takes care of the paperwork) and it is win win all the way around.

I sent New View an email a week ago to get my exterior windows cleaned. I was told that because of the rainy weather they were behind but would make sure my windows got done this week. I told them what I wanted done - They gave me an estimate over the phone (very competitive) - and i came home today and it was fantastic to walk into my house and see the sun shining through my windows. They even cleaned the ledges ...BONUS !! And a couple of skylights ... BIG BONUS!!. Thanks Brian and Naixin I am keeping your number.

There were several things that I really liked about Jeff's service. 1. He was able to ballpark the cost of replacing these two outlets over the phone - others had quoted me their 'service call rate' and their hourly rate and said that did not include the cost of the supplies. 2. Jeff also explained why these outlets were probably not working - old and outdoor elements. 3. He is extremely friendly, polite, on time and efficient. Now the Christmas lights work. We wish every call for repairs and/or service if this kind was that simple and have no problem recommending Jeff Wells.

We could smell smoke in the basement by the furnace but only when we lit a fire in the fireplace on the floor above - we weren't sure who to call about this but saw a Walter Townshend & Sons Chimney truck at the neighbours and paid them a visit. Walter dropped by later in the day and discovered that the liner in the basement had rusted through in one little spot and the chimney had lost some of its pieces at the top. They put up the scaffolding required to get up and between the houses the next day and liner was installed and the chimney was fixed. Problems solved- no fuss, no muss. The work crew was extremely polite and picked up little bit before they left. It is almost unusual these days to have such a positive repair experience - these guys were great.
