Don, the mason, and his assistant, Tye, did a fantastic job removing and relaying stone steps, laying stone on top of a concrete porch and raising the interlocking brick of the driveway to the new height of the bottom step. Especially noteworthy is the design of the stone on the porch. Both workers arrived early in the morning, worked steadily all day in the heat and were so very pleasant under difficult circumstances. I would highly recommend Avenue Road Masonry as I would Avenue Road Roofing. They stand behind their work!

After having two companies tell me I needed a new liner in my chimney to prevent smoke backing up into my basement (cost $3000+), I called Metro Chimney. Chris did troubleshooting and came up with a simple, thoughtful solution for $300 which included inspection and cleaning. Fantastic! And what a pleasant person too!

The two workers - Alex and Tadek - worked harder than any other workers I've ever employed - even during the miserable cold and rain last Saturday. They are very tidy, polite and friendly.
