Furnace stopped heating the house on Monday. Not a problem this time of year but Called Aire-One in the afternoon, explained the problem. They came early the next morning, as promised. Took only a few minutes to diagnose the problem and replace the defective sensor. A level of service that I have come to expect routinely from Aire-One.

I had a locksmith replace the entire lock/knob fixture on the rear door of my house. The door is rarely used. All seemed fine for a few months until one morning when I got up and discovered the door was wide open! I was unable to keep the door closed after that. I couldn't figure out what was wrong and thought maybe something in the door frame had shifted slightly or warped. It was the dead of winter then and I did not want to experiment so I jury rigged the door to stay closed and did not use it anymore. And forgot about it. Today I decided to call HomeStars. Soon after, Jeff called. I told him the whole story and he showed up when he said he would. Took a while to analyze the situation. Jeff found that the locksmith had installed the face plate on the side of the door on the outside of the wood instead of first chiseling out some wood so the plate would lay flush with the surface. Problem solved & door works perfectly now. I definitely will be having Jeff back again to take care of another of the previous owner's DYI failures.
