My eaves trough and downspouts were the original to my house and were badly plugged and leaking . I called three companies for a quote . There was something about Melos , there was no hard sell , he gave me a very reasonable price and said he could do it in a couple of weeks . I called him back that night to tell him I was going with his quote and they gave me a date for two weeks time . A few days later they called and said they could do my job in a few days if it was ok with me , I said to go ahead . They showed up on time ,the father is in charge of this family run company and he was on the job to begin with to make sure everything was ok . The son did the job with the assistance of two workers ,and they worked very efficiently . No money was exchanged and no deposit required .A few days later I received an invoice from the company . All very professional . Absolutely no complaints , and I recommended them to my Daughter and she was pleased with them also .

Last February I was thinking of changing my home insurance provider , so when I phoned another company for a quote , the first thing they asked was ,do I have aluminum wiring . I had to answer yes to this , as I have about 80% in my home .The guy on the phone with me asked if my present insurer knew about this , and I said that I was sure I would Have told them or they would have asked me fifteen years ago . I checked my policy and I couldn't see any mention of aluminum wiring , so I phoned them to ask . Whatever happened fifteen years ago , they had no record of my home having aluminum wiring . They wanted me to get in touch with an electrical company of my choice and have them have a look at my wiring . Because there is aluminum wiring doesn't mean that the wiring must be changed . A refit can be don , where a small piece of copper wire is joined onto the aluminum wire with special connectors and this is acceptable to the insurance company . I chose to call Mr Electric , and their rep came the next day and had a look at what I had .He advised that we get the re fit and he made a date for two days from the visit . He quoted $25.00 per plug/socket or light fixture . which was $15.00 less than another company I called . Two days later two young men showed up at 8.00am on the dot and worked steadily until they were finished at about 3.30 pm ( half hour lunch ) . They supplied all the proper connectors and all new sockets and light switches and cover plates . They did an excellent job with no fuss and no mess .The next day I was E mailed a letter for my insurance company and the next day an inspector showed up to inspect the work that was done . He was pleased with the work and so was I . I have no hesitation in recommending this company .

I attended a local Home Show back in January and this is where I made contact with this company.I left my name and phone number with David the salesman as he promised they could do something for me . Within two days they were on the phone to set up an appointment to come and see the job,and they showed up the next day on time .David came accompanied by Russ the owner of the company. They looked at the job and gave me a price . I agreed to the price and they demanded a fifty percent deposit on the total of $1,215.00 saying it was because of the nature of custom ordered parts.I said I was reluctant to give fifty percent and they said they would have to insist as Russ said "his kids don't eat shower liners".So we said how about $500.00,but still Russ wanted more ,so we agreed on $535.00.I gave him a cheque and we agreed on an installation date of March 25 . This date came and went ,we got an Email from Russ saying that the liner was on "back order".What followed was almost two months of excuses of why he couldn't do the job .It ranged from illness to deaths in the family to injuries to workers.Every time we had any contact it was always initiated by me and never Russ.Contact could only be made by Email as Russ would never answer his phone and when I was able to contact David he was less than useless to me. Finally the job was done three months after we first contacted the company .It was not done as per the contract as they could not get a "formed" liner .Instead they cut a piece of acyclic roughly to size and glued it to the base of the shower. We were also charged $135.00 for a custom plumbing fitting that was never used.On completion we negotiated a $230.00 discount .We paid this amount to get this guy and his awful company out of our lives . I would never recommend this company to anyone ,not even my enemies. It was a frustrating nightmare from start to finish. If you go to a home show and you see this company RUN don't walk, away from them and never ever look back.
