I've bought drapes and blinds for dozens of windows in my life from big box stores like Ikea and Home Depot but this was the first time I had some custom made. This specific window is large and I didn't want grommet style or lots of little panels side-by-side. Cathie was extremely professional, very friendly, gave tons of advice, and delivered a product that far exceeded what I was expecting. She made both sheers and drapes, they fit perfect, look amazing, and the attention to detail is flawless.

I had a 13+ year old furnace that was giving me troubles and I decided I'd rather have a new one I don't have to worry about. I also wanted central AC installed so it made sense to do both at once. Boris came to the house the same day I called him and gave me a quote on the spot, explained what it includes, and explained the warranty (10 years parts and labour on both units!). I called him the next day and said "go" and they were at my house early the next week to do the install. It took an entire day, the guys were very clean and didn't leave me with any mess at all to clean up. Everything works great and the furnace is way quieter than my old one. Keep in mind I have a small house (downtown TO) so the price of my units reflect that, ($5000+HST) with a bigger house you need a larger furnace and AC unit so the pricing would be higher.

I had a leaky main shut off and an old lead pipe coming into the house. I usually do all my own plumbing because I am a bit of a perfectionist but digging 27+ feet of tunnel was a bit much for me to tackle after work. I figured if Mike Holmes uses these guys I would too and wow...they almost tunneled to China! There was a mountain of dirt, rock and clay in the front yard (on a tarp) and these guys got a new 3/4" copper line ran in with a new shut-off valve and everything back together in a day. You couldn't tell they were even there after! They even put the Noma solar lights back in the same place they pulled them out of. To top it off it was over 40c and humid that day but they just kept going. Good work guys. My Brita filter thanks you.

I had Canadian Roofing Co. completely remove the 25+ year old shingles from my 80+ year old house I had just purchased which was leaking badly. They replaced the rotten boards, applied ice shield on the bottom 3ft at the front and back, and 6ft on the dormer and rear kitchen extension, new shingles, flashing, vents, and all new gutters and down spouts. They also removed the shingles on my detached 2 car garage, replaced the damaged ply, and installed new shingles on it. The garage actually had large holes in the roof that’s how bad it was! Jason Hunter of Canadian Roofing was the only one out of several companies I had quote who went up on the roof before he quoted the job, everyone else looked at it from the ground and gave me a price. Jason’s quote was detailed right down to the type of nails they use, the type of shingles and the benefits of ice shield over tar paper. His crew was very friendly, they did everything that was on the quote, and they didn’t leave a single nail or shingle in my yard that I have found so far. There was a fair amount of rotten wood hidden under the old shingles as expected, they replaced it as they did the job and the extra material and labor charges on the final bill were very reasonable. No surprises and no complaints! I am very happy with my new roof!
