The final product looks great, but we had some challenges to get to this point. Generally, poor communication and coordination; some examples: - Project Manager (PM) was minimally on site; relied on me for updates on status of the project, work completed, work to be done. - Team was on site later than contracted time on 4 occasions; after the third instance, we reported this and were told it would be addressed. After the fourth instance, we started giving team a 30 minute warning. - Plumbers had to come 6 times; twice they were unable to complete work because materials were unavailable or other work was not completed; once they were only able to complete part of required work because a delivered element was wrong. - PM stated aim was to respond to emails/texts within 6 hours; on two occasions, response was at least 48 hours later. - One item supplied by AGM was incorrectly packaged by manufacturer and required a replacement. Manufacturer provided replacement promptly, but original part could not be found for exchange until plumbers returned. - Vanity shelf does not fit with configuration of plumbing; we were not notified of this, shelf was just left against a wall. - PDI (deficiencies) visit was not clearly indicated as such before the visit. PM wanted me to sign PDI report without reviewing; on review of report, one deficiency was missing. Several things were damaged, defective, wrong, or installed incorrectly and had to be fixed: - Tub (damaged, required repair) - Custom floor vent (defective, required repair) - Vanity top (wrong top delivered, additional holes had to be drilled) - Transition strip (installed incorrectly, had to be redone) - Baseboard (one piece installed incorrectly, had to be redone) We will not be referring anyone.
