My townhouse carpets were past their “best before” date and the stairway was so badly worn that it was becoming downright dangerous. But I had a ceramic-tiled hall and kitchen that was hard to coordinate with carpet colours, and my budget was pretty tight. I consulted a few of the chain flooring retailers, but found the quotes to be a bit high for a small townhouse. Gus at Unomark worked with me to find a quality carpet to suit my home, and one that I could afford without sacrificing quality. He made sure to instruct his installers to install the carpet on the stairs in such a way that they would not be slippery, and he also gave me some tips about saving money on the installation (such as tearing out my old carpet myself beforehand). Gus helped me choose colours to match my existing tile. The installers did an efficient, professional job and cleaned up after themselves. The carpets look great. The underpad is cushy and the stairs look amazing. I’m very satisfied with Unomark.

I have had three homes in Aurora, and for each one, I called Aurora Overhead Door. Whether it was a new door installation, a new opener or merely the addition of a keypad, each time, I was happy with the service and end-result from this company. They are prompt, fair, and reliable.

$1,500.00

I bought a water softener and reverse osmosis system at the Newmarket water depot four years ago, which they installed. Only one year later, when I went back to buy a new filter, the woman behind the counter not only told me they no longer carried the filters, and that I would have to come back and speak to a manager. Instead, I called Aqua Bon in Aurora, who came out and replaced the filters. The Aqua Bon tech also pointed out the under-sized plastic hosing installed by the Water Depot people. I've called Aqua Bon every year ever since. Just today, when re-organizing my basement, I noticed the same Water Depot plastic hose connected from my laundry tub tap running directly into a drain -- with hot water running from the tap to a drain, constantly. It had been installed by the Water Depot people. Apparently, I've been heating and draining hot water for four years, and didn't even know it. I would not recommend anybody go to Water Depot for softeners / RO systems.
