I had the misfortune* of contacting Jason at EPE to fix my sunken patio floor in 2020. At the time, Everything went well. Jason was friendly and helpful and we worked out a quote (not too cheap!). The work was done on time. However, just six months later, the stones became uneven again. I reached out countless times to Jason over email (and left phone messages) to fix the patio under the three year warranty. At first Jason replied to my emails with very defensive answers (without even coming to look at the stones) as if it was my fault the patio was sinking again! He would promise* to come around "next weekend" that never came for THE LAST THREE YEARS!!!! In 2023 he came and told me he would fix it. Disappeared again and I have never heard anything from him again. I had been courteous and polite in my emails. I have a record. And I even paid a large sum in cash at short notice when his machine was not working and he was anxious that he had to pay his men. I guess niceness (plus paying fully for a job) is not enough anymore. I have kept myself from taking this to the consumer bureau but now I will. As a matter of principle. Stay away!!
