Elite Tree Care did an excellent job when we needed a tree planted to replace a large tree we needed to remove. They were accurate, responsive and punctual on the business side and efficient and knowledgeable on the tree-care side. The arborist even recommended that we wait for a new specimen when he saw the one that was reserved for us at the nursery which I think shows tremendous care and pride in their work. I would definitely refer friends and family !

I was referred to Five Lions by a friend when I needed to replace my aging boiler on short notice in mid December. I got several quotes from the usual big brand names in East York. Mo came on short notice to do an assessment and his quote ended up being the most competitive and represented the best value of the group. He gave me full answers to all my questions throughout the entire process and did a terrific job. He and his team were punctual, efficient, tidy, considerate and seemed very skilled and knowledgeable. In 20 years of renovations in a couple of different houses this was probably my best experience. BTW—I wish I had installed a high efficiency boiler years ago. I am very happy with the lower carbon footprint and my gas bills are already lower by about 30%. A+ all around.

Julio arrived on time and was thorough yet very efficient. Ironically it turns out I needed an electrician to fix the problem, but I was alerted to this possibility before the appointment. It is now fixed but I will definitely call Belyea again for any repairs and maintenance in the future.

This is the second time i've used this company because they are very professional. They are punctual, efficient in their work, and very accurate in their quotations. I most appreciate that you can trust what they say to get the job done. Will definitely have them back next time something needs to be done.

My garage door needed fixing unexpectedly and I was thinking that I would need to get a whole new system. However, Dodds didn't try to upsell me but instead explained all the options and asscoiated pros and cons. In the end we decided that a repair would do for now, and an hour later the door was working better than ever. When I do decide to get a new system, i will be contacting Dodds without hesitation.

From my first communication with the company I was pleased with their promptness and clarity. They were not afraid to provide a ballpark estimate over the phone for the work, where as at least two other companies I called would not provide such information even broadly (and were going to charge even for their quotes). Alex told me exactly when to expect him and kept in touch by text message. He clearly explained the work, gave me the exact cost, and was finished even earlier than scheduled. The work was competently performed. This is everything I expect from a company. Highly recommend.

Imran was punctual, attentive, caring and competent. I called him before Christmas and thought I would have to wait until the new year for service, but he got things together and replaced within a week. Lucky for us-- the ice storm hit about 10 days later!! I was completely satisfied- you can tell Imran really cares about the quality of the work he does and wants the customer to be 100% happy.

First to be fair, I will say that the quality of the work was very high- but so was the quote. I expected good quality for what I paid. What I didn't expect was to be bullied throughout the entire reno. Interpersonally Derek was a nightmare to work with. Beware raising any questions or disagreement about your project because it will be met with intimidation tactics instead of sorted out with an adult conversation. There are other good quality contractors out there - don't be subjected to this behavior.

I only contacted companies that were rated highly on Homestars and even of that select group, M& R roofing was the most professional, courteous, punctual, and knowledgeable. Unlike other quotes, theirs was detailed, on time and very clear. (Some companies were 45 minutes late in meeting me and then never followed through with information.) Customer service from M&R on the other hand was excellent. The roof looks great-- it was started on time, completed on time, and the crew was professional and hard working. If the roof didn't come with a lifetime guarantee - I'd for sure use these guys again! You should too!
