One excellent job deserves another. After seeing Safar's precision and attention to detail with our floor tile in our laundry room, we knew he was the perfect choice for our TV feature wall in our basement; a job requiring a high degree of precision and skill. His advice was invaluable in choosing the right type of tile for the job and sourcing it from the right supplier. We have so much faith in his ability and penchant for knowing what will look good, that we left the choice of grout colour with him. His work is of the topmost quality as evidenced by the precision of his cuts, the perfect alignment, and the crispness of the mitred corners of the wall (Another contractor tried to sell it to us that porcelain tile couldn't be mitred because he simply didn't have the skill). Safar is a master craftsman and a worry-free choice - simply get the materials and let him do his work. He is professional in all regards - communicates clearly, is punctual, and is tidy. It is a pleasure to find a person who takes a great deal of pride in his work; few and far in-between in today's world of contractors wanting maximum money for minimal effort.

Brad and his colleague were fantastic. Affable, reliable, and efficient. His communication on pricing was clear. On location the work was done with precision. We were very pleased and will use services from Tim The Handyman again.

Ray and his crew were fantastic and provided everything I could want in a duct cleaning service: clear pricing, responsiveness, efficiency and professionalism. We just completed a basement renovation so Mint Duct Cleaning cleaned up our ducts and our furnace which had accumulated 12 weeks of sawdust, drywall dust and more. Ray also advised of a repair we should look at doing to our furnance. I couldn't be happier with the service we received.

Tom and crew were absolutely fantastic to work with. The work quality is top notch and they were very accomodating in getting our project completed under a very tight timline. We were very grateful for this as it allowed the downstream acitvities such as the floor installation and painting to start on time. Before the job started, Tom pointed out areas of unevenness with the ceiling framing that was done by our Contractor. This keen attention to detail allowed the problem to be rectified to avoid a sagging ceiling. His pricing is reasonable and clear as to when payments are due. Thanks for a great job!

We couldn't be happier with the work that was done by Safar and team on our Laundry room tiling job. He is a real craftsman who is meticulous about his work. He noticed that some of the tiles we purchased from Home Depot were off by 1/16th of an inch - something we likely wouldn't realize ourselves. He is professional, affable, and communicated a clear price and timeline from the outset. Our basement renovation contractor was very impressed and mentioned that good tile installers are in short supply. This 10/10 rating is well deserved. Bravo!

I had Rodman's Heating & Air Conditioning out at my home for a quote for a gas line to my backyard as well as for a general look at my HVAC setup. The fee for the site visit was reasonable and I was able to book an appointment rather quickly whch was great. The rating of a 3 out of 5 is due to the impression I got that the person sent to my house was inexperienced: 1. He gave me a feel that somehow my use case for running a gas line outside under my deck was particlualy difficult, mentioning things about the size of drill that is needed to drill through the house. We previosuly had another Contractor drill through from the basement to run eletrical under the deck for a deck outlet box and it was no big deal at all (We have a composite deck that uses a clip system that allows us to pop up boards quickly and easily; no screws at all.) He mentioned he'd have to "take it back to the office" to discuss our gas line request with others. There is nothing wrong with that if someone is unsure, but it just didn't give me a feeling of confidence as the Home Owner. 2. We were issued a Category 2 warning for 3 items. The first item was legit - our tankless heater exhaust pipe is longer than 3 feet and does require insulation as per the code. The 2nd and 3rd items involved our Furnace and Tankless Water Heater having indoor fresh air vents and not exterior fresh air vents. After doing some research and talking to the Gas company and Reliance Home Comfort, these warnings were refuted. Interior fresh air vents are permitted as long as the basement is unfinished and the area containing the furnace and tankless heater are not sealed off with walls. He mentioned that we would get a quote in 2 or 3 days but more than a week later a quote never arrived. I feel he just didn't know what to do. I called in to say that "if a quote hasn't been completed yet please don't spend any more time on it as we've selected another company." Rodman's Heating & Air Conditioning is a reputable company that does a lot of great work based on what others have told me, hence the reason we invited them to give us a quote. However, I have personally lost some confidence through this experience. We brought in another HVAC company based in Pickering, they looked at our need, expressed no concerns or alarms, and provided us with a quote; no fuss no muss. In the end, we decided to get the Furnace and Tankless Heater vented to the exterior so that WHEN we decide to finish our basement, there is one less thing to do. Even though this was an expense we didn't have to incur at this point in time we decided to get it done anyway.

We could not be happier with our garage door from Dodds Garage Door Systems. It was an enjoyable process from the time we received our quote right through to installation. The customer service was excellent, helpful, and patient in answering all of my questions. Zaza was a top notch installer and truly passionate about his craft. He said we were lucky to get him on our installation job and we couldn't agree more. :-) No matter the profession, I always admire those who carryout their duties with care, diligence, passion, and enthusiasm. The installation quality of both the garage door and the aluminum capping was second to none. Just as Zaza was wrapping up, a neighbour walked over to express his displeasure with the aluminum capping work from another garage door company: bends in the corners, poor caulking, and 0 interest to fix the installation issues. Dodds provided us with the paint colour code so that we could match our front door to match the colour of the new garage door. This is just a stop gap as this is still the cheap Builder's door, and we will very likely be going back to Dodds when we are ready for a high quality front door. Bravo for a job well done!
