Ive used Cambridge for the past few years to complete an annual checkup on my furnace. They proactively call me in the fall to remind me, remember my past history, and also schedule appointments Saturdays if need be. Friendly technicians too. Ive recommended and continue to recommend this Scarborough business.

Peter gave great advice on trimming two large maples on my mom's property. One maple was dying but he trimmed it back and now looks like it will recover. He also trimmed back a pear tree that was out of control and a crab apple tree back to shape. We are very happy with his service.

My dad was a painter for over 50 years. I worked by his side for a decade during summers holidays, seeing his high expectations because his reputation was his livelihood. When he passed away I never thought his work could be replicated but Dee and his team manage to. My mom and I were more than impressed with ColourWorks’ attention to detail having used then a few times now. They are exceptional at colour consultation, efficiency and attention to detail. I recommend them to anyone.

I installed new doors and windows throughout my 2 story house this past week. There was construction dust in every single room, on every single surface. The two ladies arrived before 9am on Saturday morning and cleaned for 12 hours, leaving my house spotless. No More Chores called two days before to confirm the online booking and also on Saturday to check in on the work. I cannot thank the ladies and No More Chores enough.

Tip Top Trough is a professionally operated company. They replied to my emails within 24 hours and always answered my phone calls. The crew was on time, notified me in advance of when they would be coming out, and more so completed the project to my great satisfaction. They installed outlets in my downpipes and snaked the downpipes around my garage wall to discharge water down my driveway, away from my house's foundation. I fully endorse TTT.

I asked Dee to paint my mother's rental house (bungalo) prior to new a new tenant moving in. The house was in need of a top to bottom paint job. To my mom's pleasure Dee and his crew (thank you Cameron et al.) helped her choose the colours, stuck to their timeframe and gave her daily updates on the progress. Naturally, this was very reassuring to her. My mom also had to replace a badly damaged door, change carpeting, broken light fixtures 15 ft over the entranceway, etc and was looking for a general handyman. My mom was over joyed when Dee offered to complete the general repairs and also referred us to his trusted colleague who replaced the carpets and linoleum. Dee went out of his way to purchase material at a hardware store, measured the doors, replaced them, and hung closet doors and new curtain tracks. Needless to say, not only did Dee do the painting and much more, he did it with a comforting smile to my widowed mom. Definitely someone who my mother and I can't thank enough. One of the most honest and good hearted contractors out there, bar none.

July 2012: I needed to follow up constantly with Alpine for them to come out and give me a quote and when I finally signed and faxed back the offer sheet (for a new flat roof on a double garage plus new eaves troughs and downspouts), I received a follow up call only 5 days later after I placed two more calls. I also had to clean up the numerous pieces of aluminum and two nails on my property in plain sight. My toddler could have easily stumbled on them. They did not live up to their `final clean up to the customer`s complete satisfaction` as stated on their contract. July 2013: I placed a call because of pooling on my flat roof, was told someone would come out to inspect it, and am still waiting 12 days later for an inspection. I turned away other contractors who were following up with me that also offered a cheaper price, but I (regrettably) went with Alpine because of popularity.
