Showed before and after photos and answered all questions I had. Were able to rescue some debris I had known had fallen through the intake duct. Love the Benefact treatment at the end

Curtis from Pine Cove Plumbing was one of 2 plumbers to respond to my request from Home Stars - he was prompt, knowledgable and reasonably priced. He outlined what he could do and also possible complications that may arise. We had torn out a 2 washrooms and were re-doing them it with new fixtures that needed some extra work. The rough in were completed, we installed the washrooms (floor/lights etc) and he came to finish and all was good. Along the home renovation journey, we also found another leak that although we could diagnose, needed a pro to fix and he came out on short notice to deal with that for us as well. Happy to have chosen to work with Pine Cove Plumbing and will call Curtis in the future for more reno projects.

Neighbour finally agreed to us getting a new fence between our yards (they didn’t want a new gate or “rest if their fencing done) and after getting 3 quotes we hired Dino from MG Fence - what a great decision. Now a Father and Son team, small company who have been in business for 25 years. Competitive pricing, prompt, communicative, clean work space, took away all the old fencing debris - and kind. We are very thankful we found MG Fence through a referral and will and do recommend them to anyone looking for new fencing. Before and after are pictured.

Called a few companies and Well Done responded quickly. We had experienced water leakage in our home due to heavy rain and wind - and needed to have at least a repair done quickly to ensure our home was water-tight. Came within 2 hrs of the call, did a quick assessment visually from the ground and then on the roof and did a repairs to ensure our roof would be water tight, at least until we can replace the roof in the future. Kind, quick service. Thank-you.

Called Joanne and asked for a quote on a basic AC unit. Price was reasonable. Called again and asked for some additional work. Antony came out on Friday, took a good look around, asked questions to under our needs and was able to quote on the spot. I thoughts about it for an hour and emailed the company to arrange for work to happen and it did so, today. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Very happy - project was on time and on budget. Appreciate the service and will when we need a new furnace down the road :)

Found Chris through recommendation from out gas contractor when our originally hired contractor failed to show multiple times to start work - and so happy we did. Chris was showed up to quote the job, sent us information as requested and was prompt to accept and start the job. We were working with an existing structure and extending it, and Chris was able to comprehend my rather vague requests and bring them to life. When we added a rather large beam job half way through the job he was happy to accommodate with a revised quote and timeline. Chris was professional and friendly throughout his time on the job. We are thrilled with Chris' craftsmanship and the finished job looks great. So happy we found Chris and would love to hire him again (already dreaming of another project). Thanks!!

Saw Paul's truck in the area of my phone and after checking him out on HomeStars, I emailed him and arranged for a conversation. Had him over the next day to quote for changing out old pot lights (halogen with transformer) to new LED's. The hole/pot light size was the same but it was more work than I as a homeowner could handle. Paul provided a fair estimate and we hired him on the spot. The work was arranged to be done within a few days. Paul provides intelligent, personable service. The pot lights were changed out quickly and efficiently. We will call again should we require electrical work done.

Andre and Dante called 1/2 hrs prior to arrival and came within the timeframe allotted. The vehicle was well marked and the men were polite. After major renos but not having had much experience with Duct Cleanung I was pleasantly surprised at how the service was performed - photos, explanations, care taken with our property and the cleaning seemed very thorough. Love that they use Benefact at the end - my favourite "green" disinfectant. Would use their services again (in 5-7 years!)

Francisco came out promptly for a quote and arrived on time. We chose not to get other quotes from other companies due to our favourable meeting. We did change the scope of work due to some renovation changes, but that did not hinder our going forward. The job took a crew of men to strip/sand the flooring and then lots of time spent on the finishing details (filling in cracks, doing edges, stairs etc. He also stained a few stairs so we could determine stain colour as we found it hard to choose from little samples. We are thrilled with our revitalized floors. There was a LOT of dust and debris so we are happy we chose to have this done prior to moving in (but the crew did do a good job of keeping everything as tidy as possible). Would definitely recommend and hire again if there was opportunity to do so.

Found Ton Furniture via Homestars and after visiting some big retailers, still was uncertain of what different types/styles/names meant in the big scheme of things when buying a mattress. After knowing what "felt good" in other stores, we went to the Vaughn showroom this past weekend and met Andy who pointed out different mattresses within our price point, explaining the pros and cons of each one and making things easy to understand. We ended up purchasing a mattress type we did not even know about, and had it delivered this evening. Andy was very helpful in knowledge for the sale but also with after-sales service - answering emailed questions during a weekend and as well when the mattress was delivered this evening, taking the mattress up multiple flights of stairs and helping with set up. Would highly recommend buying a mattress from Ton Furniture to anyone who is looking to purchase one in the future, either (and we have not even slept on the bed yet!). Thanks again Andy!

Needed a H2O tank replaced in a Stacked Townhouse for a client in September 2013. Max was a bit late in arriving to do his quotation appointment but made up for it in cost of the job. He ordered the specialized tank efficiently, came out a day before we expected and the unit was installed well. Good job, Max.

Emailed Mapleleaf with my requirements to have an electrical fuse box replaced with a new breaker panel box and they replied within hours with information and an approximate cost. They were the first to reply (others took days), were informative, had a good website and were able to schedule the work at a time was acceptable to me. They arranged things with Enersource (Mississauaga) to have the power turned off and also arranged for the ESA to come out to inspect their work. Alex came out a week prior to doing the job to ensure he had all that was required to complete. Alex and Tyler arrived promptly on the arranged day, ready to work and completed the job in 3 hours. They did experience delays that were beyond their control (ESA/Enersource arriving) but were professional throughout. I will recommend Maple Leaf Electric to anyone who needs electrical work done (and as a Real Estate agent, I do not recommend without thoroughly believing in the company's work and reputation).
