Dave in Davisville Village

I hired Dave and crew to clean up a fallen branch and do some pruning of a large maple tree in my yard. His price was fair, he arrived on the scheduled day as planned, and was very thorough in his work and in cleaning up the mess afterwards. I would gladly recommend him.

I hired Harris last fall to do some new eavestroughs (new front porch) and replace some older ones that were damaged. They did a great job at the price quoted. I highly recommend giving Harris a call.

I asked Brian to re-do the brick around our front window. The original brick arch was decayed and had some huge cracks. Brian was able to re-do the window with a proper steel lintel with a stone sill. Looks awesome.

Blue Circle removed my old driveway and walkway, excavated the entire front, and laid a new interlock driveway and walkway. They did a great job, and we are very pleased with the result and are glad we decided to go with Mark and Blue Circle. I highly recommend giving Mark a call.

This is the fourth time I've used Arthur and his team. This time around they installed all of the aluminum we needed on our new 2 storey front addition. They were as always professional and reliable. Thanks again Arthur.

This is the second time I have hired these guys (Igor, sales and Melik, installer). This job was to install new windows and a new front door for our front addition. Igor is very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Melik is awesome at this job and I would highly recommend asking for him. Thanks again guys, excellent work.

I own an older home that still had a lead water supply pipe and it was upgraded to 3/4" copper. I hired this company based on the reviews here on Homestars. Walter came by to give me a quote, explained everything to me, and answered all of my questions. The work was done on-time and at the cost quoted, which was significantly better than other quotes I had gotten. The site was left clean and orderly both during the work and afterwards. These guys are very professional, and I would definitely recommend these guys.

We were referred to Eurostar by a friend and their general contractor. Igor came by right away, was very thorough and professional and provided a quote immediately and answered all of our questions. He also kept us up to date throughout the process once we placed our order. Melik, the installer, is a pro and clearly cares about the quality of his work and treats your home like it was his own. He is thorough, professional and he and his helper kept the work site organized and clean. Melik also spent extra time explaining everything to us, and made sure we were happy with the results. Hired them to reroute and reconnect our interior gas lines as we had the exterior gas supply line and gas meter moved to a new location. This is the third time I have hired Lou (and Marino) to do some work for me, and as always they do a top notch job on time and at a fair price.

I hired the Roof Whisperer to make some minor repairs and to replace my plastic roof vents with metal ones. I have used Arthur and his team in the past and they always provide prompt and professional service. I highly recommend using this company for any roofing repairs or projects.

Sam was quick to respond to my inquiry and provide me with an initial estimate over the phone. When he came by a few days later and assessed our actual situation (older home with a low basement height, older furnace, etc.) he explained how based on the situation we could not actually install a higher efficiency unit, and recommend a unit that was actually lower priced (but which is still efficient and quiet). I appreciated his explaining everything thoroughly and honestly, as others had tried to sell us a higher efficiency solution at a much higher cost. The installation was also very professional and done on schedule. I would highly recommend this company.

I hired Clera based on the reviews on this site. Vick the sales guy was very friendly and helpful in helping us choose the door that was right for us and that met our needs and budget. The door looks great and was installed professionally. The only issue we had was that as a smaller project our installation date kept getting pushed back, otherwise I would give them a 10.

We hired Mimmo and Forever Stone Design based on the reviews here and on our impression of him when we met. Mimmo is a trustworthy professional who takes a lot of care and pride in his work. We are very pleased with the work done and would highly recommend using Mimmo and his team.

I hired Turnbull Masonry in the fall of 2012 to do some significant brick work on my house (relocate side door and window, repair old fireplace, repair another window opening, re-enforce foundation by new side door). Clint and his team are very professional and all work was done on time and as quoted. I will use this company again in the future. Clint, sorry I forgot to write this sooner.

I hired DanMac to install an entirely new plumbing system (drains, supply, etc.) in the fall of 2012. The plumber they assigned, Andrew, did a first rate job. The job was done on time and at the cost quoted in their on estimate (which was significantly better than other quotes I received). I would highly recommend using this company.

I hired Alex to relocate my electrical panel inside the house, which also necessitated some updates to the electrical system components on the exterior of the house (update conduit to PVC, etc.). Alex is very professional, and explained the process and everything that needed to happen clearly. He did the work on time and at the cost quoted. I would highly recommend Alex and his team.

I hired Chico to re-waterproof my new addition (the orginal waterproofing having been not done at all correctly by my original contractor). Chico came by the house to assess the situation, and was very professional and answered all of my questions, took lots of time to explain what needed to be done and how he would do it, and made a few suggestions for improvements as well. He had a copy of his estimate in my inbox later that day. Chico and his crew did a great job of removing the old waterproofing as best they could, and then re-did everything very thoroughly and professionally. They took away all the garbage, including some stuff which was not part of their scope of work. The work was done in a timely manner and the result is exactly how waterproofing is supposed to be - done professionally and done right.

Ionic was subcontracted through our builder to do the tile work in our new masterbath. We weren't sure what to expect, but after meeting Chris, George and Spiros we liked them right away. And as it turns out, not only are they a friendly father and son(s) team, they also do really nice work and take a lot of pride in the work they do. They took extra time to talk to us about the layout options, answer any and all of our questions, etc. I highly recommend giving them a call.

Shane is very courteous, prompt, and thorough. He gave me a written estimate, took all the time I needed to talk about what I wanted and what options I had, was straight up with me about cost impacts of changes, started on time and finished on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up the site when completed. In the course of finding someone to do this job I met a number of contractors who I am sure are capable. However, unlike them, Shane is a decent, regular guy who clearly takes pride in his work. I will use Shane in the future and I highly recommend him.
