After receiving a few very high quotes, I found Jacinda on homestars and thought it was a worth a shot! Key points: a)she reached out to me as soon as I contacted her. I think it was a Saturday evening! b) She scheduled an appointment and showed up early! c)Her quote was extremely reasonable. She scheduled a tentative start date and started on schedule. Her communication was amazing. Once she came to do the work, she finished ahead of schedule and the work is GORGEOUS! She even repaired some previous wall damage and it is flawless. We are thrilled. As long as Jacinda is around, I will never paint myself again. The value she added to our home is worth much more than the cost of the work.

After many fits and starts with contractors abandoning us, not calling us back etc. I found Mike through HomeStars. We had a lot of flooring to install ( 4 bedrooms, living room, dining room, office, family room) and a staircase and banister we wanted replaced. I called Mike and he came out within a day and gave us a quote a few days after that. My husband and I were both very comfortable with Mike and his pricing was amazing, He started the job on schedule which is a first for any Reno I’ve ever done. His team were AWESOME. Very nice guys and their work is gorgeous. He managed to get us incredible pricing on the floor we wanted. The stairs are beautiful, solid and exactly what we wanted. Our 80s home looks beautiful and feels fresh and renewed. You won’t regret it if you call Mike.

We desperately needed a shed to deal with overflow from the garage so we could actually park in the garage. The whole process from initial contact to installation took less than 10 days and we are very happy with our new shed! It went up very quickly and is such a cute, useful addition to our yard. The guys doing the install were very nice, the owner was very responsive to questions and changes, everything went better than we even expected!

I contacted Hossein with a few questions a few weeks ago. I found him very responsive but I admit, the great reviews on Homestars almost made me a little suspicious. How can this company be SO good? However, DO NOT BE AFRAID. They came out today, 18 potlights inside and 9 outside, left no mess and were a pleasure to deal with! It all went SO well, my house looks beautiful and you would hardly even know they were even here. Honestly, I could not imagine this going any better. Thank you Hossein and crew! You guys were awesome. We are thrilled with the modern new look of our home.

We hired Paul to renovate our main bathroom and he and the guys did such a great job! They were on schedule and things went very, very smoothly! They also replaced all the interior doors on the second level. We had hired another contractor before we met Paul who had renovated much of our house. However, he abandoned us 99% of the way through. Paul finished up the odds and ends and our house looks amazing. We are looking forward to when we can hire Hawkeyes again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I've called these fellows twice for two different sump repairs (each unrelated). The first time, the plumber came out in a TERRIBLE snowstorm on a Saturday. As we live in the country, it was not an easy trek but he was very nice and efficient. Today we had another problem that was not an emergency but they called me back immediately and someone was available right away, showed up on time and again, were very pleasant and thorough to ensure the problem was fixed. Would not hesitate to call them again. My husband calls them "that kid that came out in the snowstorm"!
