It is difficult to find a good professional company that will do smaller projects in the Oshawa area. Although they are in Markham they sent me a reasonable quote, showed up on time, and completed all the work quickly. I had some trim missing at top of siding and some soffit repair with animal screen around it and some loose siding fixed. Everything was well done and I thank the guys for coming out here to do a smaller project quickly and professionally. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Dave was quick to respond and showed up the next day to fix my bathroom clogged drain. He was quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and had it fixed in no time at a very fair cost. Will use Dave anytime I need plumbing work and highly recommend him.

My Samsung dryer has a hard to diagnose problem and it ran about 20 minutes before turning itself off and would not turn on again for another 20 minutes. Got next day service, friendly customer service, and quick repair replacing a small sensor he had with him. Very fair price and very convenient quick books pay after receiving email invoice. I used to use North Durham and they are very good as well but do not do Samsung and don't have an email pay setup.

I had a basement light, and recepticle that did not work and it was a wiring problem. All the relevant wiring was quickly checked and the problem located in an inaccessible area so a new wire was run to the light fixture and problem solved at a very fair price. Showed up on time as promised, was professional and I can see why this company gets top reviews all the time. Will use them again.

My driveway was in terrible shape and I needed a new side entrance to replace the falling apart wood deck style side entrance. I decided on Northland due to a lot of good reviews.and that they do both paving and interlock. They paved my driveway properly with the correct slope and I had them enclose it in a flat interlock curb. The side entrance was done as a half circle interlock walkout with an interlock surrounding base. As noted by another reviewer, Northland is probably more expensive than others, but when it comes to driveways and interlock you get what you pay for and they did a very professional and nice looking job in a reasonable timeframe and within the time I requested. I plan to use them again in the future and if you are prepared to pay a fair price for high quality work, then they are a good choice. They are definitely a 9+ .

Dave has consistently received top ratings on Home stars, and after having him do some plumbing work at my house I can see why. I rarely give a full 10 to contractors as due to the nature of the work it is hard to start on time, finish on time, and do all work perfectly, but Dave did just that. Dave is a master plumber and is one of the smaller contractors. Many times I use large well known contractors which cost more, but will always do the best work. For my plumbing work I chose Durham Plumbing and I am glad I did. Even Dave's up front pricing is fair and reasonable. He also found a hard to see Drain erosion that I missed, and I will be calling him back to do this work too. I highly recommend Dave, and his low key, no high pressure, way of doing business.

Read good reviews in HomeStars, although catchy names make me a little nervous. The initial appointment was on time and conducted in a professional manner. i went over the work to be done, which was checking and repairing some outlets, and installing a bathroom fan, and removing a kitchen fan lite fixture and replacing with a standard lite fixture. The price was about what I estimated it would be, and Dave, who was a master electrician explained a bit about the company and himself, and we then set up a time for the work. The company called a day before the scheduled work, to re-schedule it, which was a bit of a problem for me as I had scheduled it for when I was off from work and available. The reason in this case was totally understandable, as they were dealing with emergency situations due to the ice storm. A new date was set which accommodated my split work shift, and they showed up as promised. Two electricians, Dave and Dan, then completed the work, and reviewed it with me. The work was professionally done and both Dave and Dan were courteous (work is free if they swear)and finished the work quickly, with good cleanup before they left. Overall I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company and its electricians, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. I rarely give any contractor a 10 as any contracting job is inherently difficult to do perfectly, but they are a 9+ for sure and if you want quality work, by highly qualified electricians at a fair price, with a company that provides polite and knowledgeable customer service, they are the ones to call, notwithstanding the catchy name. requested a quote and Mr. Wilson came the next day and gave a full written quote including tax showing type of shingles, underlay, edging and everything was quality materials. Used IKO shingles, lifetime and the quote was fair given the quality of shingles and underlay used. They came a week later with a large crew that finished the job the same day, and did a full cleanup after. No problems, except one little minor glitch when paying, and as no one's perfect, I don't like to give a 10 too easily, but they were a 9 out of 10 for sure and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a really professional job with high quality materials.
