Michael was super quick in getting back to me and booking Godian for the repair visit. He was not only on time, but a little early. Godian was friendly and professional and clearly takes great pride in his work. When finished, the table looked like new and Godian also educated me on how to best care for my marble table and what products worked best. He didn’t try to upsell me or anything. He was really generous with sharing his knowledge of stone - knowledge I will take with me in making future design decisions. Definitely recommend this company!

Jason and Victoria came on short notice. I had a 1 inch gap running between the wall and crown moulding because of crown moulding being replaced after mill work installation. Jason was very professional and knew exactly what materials he needed. He artfully and carefully patched the gap with mesh tape and then plastered the area quickly and cleaned up afterward. I’m very pleased with the result and their service. I’d recommend.

We were having built ins put in our library and the millwork people needed the electrical outlets that would have ended up behind the shelves extended and properly housed in boxes. We also needed the light switch moved to the other side of the wall due to the shelves. I called Ali and he came the next day, prompt and professional and ready to work. He wanted to fully understand the purpose of the work and made sure I understood how to instruct the millwork people to do their job safely. He was quick and tidy and helpful. We encountered a problem when testing all the work so he inspected my panel. He found that I had not only two faulty breakers, but the person who installed the panel gave me USED ones!!!! Ali fixed everything I asked him to do and more and was courteous and professional throughout. I wouldn't have any other electrician back to do work for me, as he was knowledgable as well as affordable. He clearly takes great pride in his trade and his work shows it.

John's guys came to replace a transistor to make my Ring doorbell work - or so we thought. Turned out there was an issue with the doorbell mechanism itself, so had to replace the Ring first. Then John came back another day to replace my chime, transistor and made sure that everything was working before he left. He is friendly, professional and knowledgable. Viktoria gave me everything I needed to update my home's interior and furnishings. I've used many of her suggestions in several rooms and will continue to use her guidelines as an instructive tool. For someone who wasn't needing to do full renos cause I love my house, I just needed an update, this was perfect for the price.

We were having tons of issues with pot lights all over our home. They showed up the day after I called (they would have been there the evening before, but got stuck in traffic) and diagnosed our problem as being one that saved us TONS of $$! As they went through our house, magically fixing each and every little electrical problem, I now feel like our home is revitalized and brand new. We had a large glass block window that we needed replaced. Kevin in sales came by and was friendly and knowledgable. He guided us to the perfect choice in a frosted window for our bathroom. Kevin warned us that installation could be problematic given the complicated trim around our window and the age of our home, but assured us that his installer would be able to work with it, no matter the circumstances. Stefan in installation was accommodating when it came to timing when he came to measure. Upon installation Stefan was prompt and friendly, he cared about not damaging anything and performed a perfect installation in around two hours. He was also very professional and was able to compromise with the roofers who also had to work in a tight space in our downtown Toronto neighbourhood who happened to be working next door. I would not hesitate to recommend Brock Windows & Doors for any reason, and plan to use them again in the future.

Michael arrived within the hour the office called to tell me the technician was coming. He was courteous and friendly and very knowledgable. When he looked at the leak he immediately pulled the hose out and hand tightened the connection. Problem solved. He tightened it further with tools and asked if there was anything else he could help me with. I was flabbergasted at how easy the solution was and he went on to explain to me that disreputable plumbers have been know to LOOSEN this hose to overcharge their clients for unnecessary work. He even asked if I'd seen the CBC Marketplace special on such fraud, and joked that he might be on hidden camera. This was the most pleasant and educational visit I've had from a tradesperson and I would call him in a heartbeat if I had another problem. He even made a follow up call to make sure the problem hadn't recurred. If you've got plumbing issues, stop reading this review and call WaterWorks. You won't regret it.

Gord from Finer Edge got back to me in a timely manner and was very accommodating when scheduling the work to be done. I was pleased when the crew showed up on time (often a rare occurrence with trades), courteous and ready to work. They moved all the large furniture, covered everything up and got to work. They were done in half a day and even took the time to volunteer to touch up some marks on the walls (which wasn't part of the job at all). They tidied up, vacuumed and took their garbage with them. Everyone with whom I had contact was pleasant and professional. The results are fantastic and I would hire Finer Edge for any future painting jobs - big or small.

I had my family room pot lights replaced, which resulted in six large holes in my cathedral ceiling. Kevin Buckner called me within 24 hours after my online query and arranged to come a give me a quote the next day (Friday). He arrived on time with a professional appearance and demeanour and managed to fit my job into his schedule. He and his crew arrived EARLY on Monday morning (rare in contractors) and they quickly got to work. They finished the job on time and finished the work BEAUTIFULLY! Not only did they fix the holes, but patched up any cracks and nail pops that were visible. While it was inconvenient to have my family room out of commission for three days, the results were completely worth it. I would recommend Kevin for any drywall/plastering work. He and his guys know their stuff.

We had a mysterious ceiling leak in a recently renovated house. My phone call was returned within the hour and someone came to fix the problem in two days. They identified & resolved the problem within an hour, in addition to advising me of possible future concerns. I will definitely contact the company to follow through on those repairs in the future. We had water leaking into our 3 year old finished basement due to settling between an addition and the original structure. Upon contacting the delightful Darby, he came out within 24 hours to quote us on the job. He gave us repair options, gave us all the info we felt we need to make a decision and quoted us a price much lower than expected. He and his crew made me feel like I was the most important job they'd ever had. They updated me on the progress of the job (which they finished very quickly) and were nicest guys. They were accommodating and respectful of my neighbour and even offered to come back to repair any issues with her interlocking brick later in the spring. I would recommend Darby & the Mud Monkeys to anyone.... EVER. A pleasure to deal with, to be sure.

I needed to have an eavestrough replaced that was very close to the next house. I contacted several eavestrough & roofing companies (including some featured repeatedly on prominent DIY shows) only to be told that the only solution was to use a sheet of metal joining our roof to our neighbour's as a "joint" trough. Even more important, he explained how the job could be done, & that it would take more time & patience to do. Dan is one of the most congenial, friendly & hard-working contractors I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Dan assisted me in purchasing the items for the project and worked right up until Christmas Eve to get the job done. I was astounded at how great my backsplash and shower look! I am having him back to do some carpentry and wouldn't hesitate to use him for any number of projects, big or small.
