It's 2 years later and the windows are all still great, no condensation in the glass or any other problems. Staff were very professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves. From the initial quote to my changes about what windows they wanted done the process was smooth and I had no real problems.
New gas boiler and new gas fireplace
Everything was a fight with Toronto Home Comfort. The boiler and fireplace eventually worked and everything has been working smoothly for the last almost two years. However it took almost a full year for the boiler to be working properly and nothing was installed properly on the first attempt. It took two or three attempts on the fireplace and well the boiler installer and I were on a first name basis and I knew all about his kids before it was working properly. Also my contact at the company was regularly away from the office so it took forever for him to get back to me.

I had badly damaged original hardwood floors that I hoped to have refinished. David was willing to have his staff try to repair the floors. His workers soon discovered that the original hardwood was beyone repair and a new floor would be necessary. After a few phone calls with David I decided on a new floor. David was able to source some beautiful new hardwood flooring the same day and delivered it himself. His install staff were great; they did a fantastic job, they cleaned up after themselves and they took the time to answer questions. The new floors look beautiful.
I had some damaged bricks on the side of my house. I found Otto through homestars and he lived up to his reviews. He came by on a weekend to look at the work and sent me a quote the next day. The new bricks match the existing bricks very well and the repair blends right in. I am very happy with the finished product.

The store has a large selection of wood flooring options. There are a number of sale items in many different styles which are a great deal. The minimum installation fee was approximately $300, which was considerably less than the other places I considered. The sales agent will haggle so push for a deal. The installers cut the wood outside to limit mess inside the house and cleaned up after themsleves. One year later the floor still looks great.
