My 145 year old Mount Albert Century home's roof, fascia and soffit were in need of repair. As well I had custom milled decorative trim that required installing. So I received tenders ranging from $9-18,000. Academia's uppermost bid identified concerns overlooked by other contractors such as quality materials, poor ventilation, insufficient insulation and a requirement to replace the century old roof. Over the course of 4 1/2 days Gord's crew tidily removed debris and professionally installed all necessary high quality materials. The fine attention to detail for the flashing further convinced me that my money was well spent. Gord promptly addressed onsite concerns professionally and to my satisfaction. In addition Gord and his crew took pride in assisting with the installation of my supplied restoration materials. As well I was impressed by Gord's initiative to follow-up on concerns well after the installation. Two years later I sold the house. I can assure you that Academia's attention to detail and quality materials greatly added to my home's curb appeal and resale value.
