Pre-sales was great, sales person was friendly. Ordered a nice door and window unit with expensive finishings, probably over paid, but I liked the sales person. Upon delivery, wrong parts were delivered - the specific finishings I asked for were not installed on the door. Unfortunately I noticed this after my old door and windows were taken down. Brock was not able to deliver on what I wanted - the parts were not available with my specific combination. It took months of negotiations and involvement with the BBB before it was resolved. Since then, the product has since failed multiple times due to defects. I have had multiple service calls, problem is that each time it takes 3 to 6 months to get a replacement. Not only that, their supplier routine screws up orders - wrong parts, defective parts, etc. Also, service department is hard to reach, does not call back, takes weeks of phoning to get a status update. I've had to call service 3 or 4 times - so yes, I've spent years dealing with Brock... Brock looks good up front, but Brock ultimately fails to deliver.

I booked an appointment with Jacky to get an estimate for a ductless air conditioner installation. Jacky arrived on time, did an in-depth walk around, and provided several different options (Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, and Gree). I decided on the Mitsubishi unit since they have the best reputation in the industry. Installation was booked for one week later, installers showed up on time. Two guys installed the unit in about 6 hours - installation was very clean, nicely done. Overall I'm very happy with the price I paid and the quality of the work done.

What could this company do to improve their services?

Claudio was fantastic and helped me select the perfect tiles for by Kitchen and Bathroom. Although Tile Place does not have a large selection, their prices were fantastic - much cheaper than the big box stores or other comparable store. In particular, the glass tile prices were fantastic. Overall I'm very happy with Tile Place - but when there, definately as for Claudio.

I ordered a Natuzzi Sofa from Evan @ Home Style; I was quoted a 4-month delivery time, and my sofa is supposed to arrive mid-May. In the end, the Sofa took 5 months to arrive. Post-sale, Evan avoided questions about delivery and said "we'll call you when it arrives", that is NOT comforting when they're holding onto a 25% deposit. Home Style also pre-charges your credit card about a week before delivery which caused me a bit of grief. The delivery guys were EXTREMELY late, and did not arrive until 7:00PM of the schedule date. Luckily I had nothing to do that day, otherwise it would have been a wasted day for me. Home Style *COULD* be a good company to deal with IF Evan learns to have better salesmanship skills. He needs to learn to take care of his customers and not brush them off post-sales. Overall the experience was mediocre, I probably will not be buying from them or recommending them to anyone.

What could this company do to improve their services?
Provide a better post-sale customer experience. Provide customers with realistic delivery dates. Don't bill the customer's credit card pre-delivery. Take a smaller deposit.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Negotiate a smaller deposit (10-15%), be more forceful with Evan. Make sure you get everything in writing - delivery date, fabric color, model, etc. etc. etc.

VERY tiny showroom with very pieces on display. Ante seems to specialize in condo style furniture, not many pieces were appropriate for a larger home. This store seems to have access to more items, but only through catalog order. Not worth a visit unless you're planning on price matching.

Our 1985 Yonge St. showroom now consists of 3 separate rooms with lots of windows facing Yonge St. We also now have a 5,000 square-foot showroom downtown at 132 Front St. East. Mike E @ Morely's was quick and efficient with the sales process and provided me with a good price. However, delivery turned out to be a bit of a fiasco; the delivery guys showed up with an OPEN BOX appliance; being my first delivery, I thought that's how appliances were delivered. I even questioned the delivery guys and asked if this was a new unit, and they answered "Yes". After the delivery guys left, I inspected the unit closer an noticed numerous dings, dents, scratches, and even a minor oil stain on a label on the back of the unit! It was definitely a customer return/floor model. I called Mike E, and it turned out, the store/warehouse shipped me a "floor model" or returned unit ... A bit shady if you ask me - If I didn't complain, they would have unloaded an open box/returned unit on me. Morely's did eventually do an exchange, but it took >3 weeks and no compensation on their side. During the exchange process, the sales guy did a POOR job of keeping me informed. I had to call every 2 or 3 days to follow up on the issue. The rest of my order arrived with no issues, but nevertheless, the experience left a bit of a bad taste for me. In the future, I will stick with a tried and true place like Tasco Distributors.

-Do not ship open box items! -Provide customers with better feedback should issues arise -Confirm details with customers, in general just provide better communication!

New appliances come in a box and plastic wrap! Make sure the unit is delivered new and don't accept delivery of a unit with any visible damage!
