I had an Old Gas Fireplace Removed and Replaced and the Installers Butchered the Surrounding Drywall forcing me to reconsider their original idea for surrounding the opening with a custom trim piece. In the end I decided to just replace the wall with cement board and tile. The Tile Zone provided me the best price on some 12" X 12" Traventine Mosaic tile. They were very helpful, convenient and close by. Honestly they were the best price for these tiles we found in the area. As mentioned by others a lot of stuff in a small square footage customer area. Weekends can kinda get a lot of foot traffic in and make looking through their inventory a bit more hectic. I suggest a week night or day. If you are still in the browsing stage. When I first decided to tackle this tiling job myself I found the prospect a little nerve racking. The Tile House were very helpful and provided many reassurances that I could handle the job. They help my wife and I pick out a decent priced tile and set me up with some other tiling needs. I have since done a few other small projects and The Tile House is my first go to place for Tiles and Supplies in the Pickering /Ajax Area. Oh and my wife really enjoyed the idea of signing out the Grout samples to bring home. In this way she could get a real sense of how it might look in our particular application

Best part of the experience was the recommendation of the Heat and Glo Gas Fireplace. Ordered and Received my Gas Fireplace in Mid September and never got it installed until 7 weeks later. They booked an appointment with me to install a couple of weeks after it was delivered and then did not show up on that day. I lost a day's pay for nothing while I waited for nobody to show. I can't recommend this company but the Heat and Glo products are top shelf

Shelia was very easy to deal with as my wife and I had many questions in need of answers. One year after the install and I am still fairly satisfied. However one has to accept that wood is an organic material and prone to the contraction and expansion brought on by changing seasons. Some of the planks have contracted and gaps exists that do not seem as if they will be going away anytime soon. In this regard one might want to consider engineered products instead. Price included some eaves trough work and a complete covering of my roof, including garage, with an underlay of roofing paper. Outstanding quality job by some outstanding quality work personnel. This being a major purchase for me I had a lot of questions for Ken and he took a lot of his time out to answer them. After 4 quotes and 3 different ideas for my needs I decided on K.Oley Heating and Cooling. They just made the most sense with their install suggestions on duct work needs with my new furnace. After my research and conversations with Ken, he provided me exactly what I asked for at the best price. Do your own research a qualified installer is more important then the manufacturer of your units and Ken and his crew have 39 plus years in the business.

Garaga Doors are very well built and great products. I had a little issue with the install and when I phoned the owner he seemed irritated by my call. He suggested that perhaps it was my garage floor that was not flat and it might be sinking. They reluctantly sent a guy out who made some adjustments. I am happy to say a couple of years later the adjustments worked and i guess the floor isn't sinking. A little disappointed at the comment steve lynas
