I was looking for the perfect fabric to create some cushions, etc. but hadn't found anything I liked until this place. It is on the expensive side, but the quality is phenomenal and they have a beautiful selection. There isn't much in the way of drapery fabrics, but there are gorgeous silks, appliques, lace, etc.The staff is helpful, and overall I had a great experience here.

This place is fantastic for those looking to buy eco-conscious. They have a fairly large selection of fabrics and trimmings, and the staff are wonderful. The store focuses on natural fibre textiles and works to produce non-toxic products (great if you have sensitivities or young children). I found the products to be reasonably priced, and loved the idea of buying low-impact fabric.

This store is a gold-mine of home decor inspiration. Sister store to macFab fabrics, this store does wonders with beautiful fabric. The customer service is top notch, and they're even willing to work with on what fabrics/designs might work in your space. They are a little higher-end, but well worth it!

$200.00

Sister store to macFab Home nearby -this store is wonderful for interior and upholstery fabrics. A little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for (gorgeous silk, leather and suede; options that are stain protected, UV protected, etc.). The selection is great and the staff a really helpful and no-pressure. You can even rent out "books" of samples to see how fabrics would work in your space.

This store has one of the greatest selection of fabrics in the city. It's too bad that the service here is so terrible. Unless you know exactly what you're looking for and how much, I'd avoid this place. The fabrics are gorgeous, and the prices are on the higher end of reasonable. The staff, however, are completely unhelpful. They had the tendency of wandering off in the middle of our conversation and smirking off my questions. A store only for those who know what they're doing and need no help.

$100.00

This place was a lifesaver. The area is a little sketchy, and the entry gate keypad takes some patience, but I felt like my unit was safe and protected. The interior is a little warehouse-esque and dimly lit, but the front desk lent us extra lighting and the units were spacious and well-kept. This place is the most reasonably priced that I've found, and they often have "two months for the price of one" specials - which is great for short-term storage. The customer service is great (they helped us with the elevator and our dolly's on more than one occasion) and my stuff was stored - what more could you ask for?

I want to like this shop. It seems pro-DIY: they curate a small but lovely collection of fabrics, they teach sewing classes, you can use their machines by the hour. The service here, however, is just terrible. The staff are condescending, the sergers ruined my material and their dog sheds everywhere. Overall, I'd avoid if possible.

This place is wonderful. It's a mix of furniture, houseware and oddities; as well as a mix of true antiques and nostalgia. Bill (the owner) is so helpful and knowledgeable, he's willing to search out what you need if you can't find it. I love that this place is so spacious, allowing you room to wander and suss out what you're looking for. Everything is fairly priced and in great condition. I walked away with some great oak tables and vintage knick-knacks, as well as how-to's on how to keep them looking great!

I love this store! The have the best selection of fabrics in the city by far, and even better - all fabrics are catalogued, so you can easily find what you used before. The salespeople are wonderful, so knowledgeable and quick. It is easy to get lost in here, but if you're in a hurry, they'll present you with some options so you can buy and go.

My computer had broken down, it wouldn't start due to overheating, the fan was ridiculously loud and non-functioning, and all I could get was the black screen of death. I took it in to the Computer Trade-In Post, and the man there was my saviour. Warning: Don't come here looking for pretty interiors, and shiny displays of new product. The place was filled with parts and projects. They searched for a replacement part for my fairly old clunker of a laptop. Gave me an estimate to buy the part (noone was manufacturing) and suggested I start looking for a new one. It wasn't until I asked about what I should be looking for, that they mentioned they sold laptops as well. I walked away with a shiny new laptop and they even transferred all my data to it for free! Conclusion: Fantastic customer service, really knowledgeable staff, totally worth a visit (just ignore all the computer graveyard around you).
