Trish from Fixer on the Roof responded quickly by contacting the roofing contractor in my area. Victor replied within a few hours and came to my house the next day. Victor explained everything clearly and then he sent me an estimate which was reasonable. He fixed my flashing problem a few days later. He was professional, polite, knowledgeable, and extremely hard working. I’m confident that he fixed my problem. I have no problem recommending Fixer on the Roof if you have a roofing problem.

What a great experience! Victor contacted me within 24 hours. He came stopped by to take a look on a Saturday and the job was completed on a Tuesday. After he talked to my neighbours and I about the problem and what needs to be done, I hired him on the spot. Then I received a detailed estimate with what needed to be done. Victor took his time on a cold day to fix my leak above my fireplace as a result of a poor flashing job done by another roofer . He answered all questions and even showed me pictures and took a video of what he did. Victor is extremely hard working, friendly and smart. I’m confident that he fixed my problem. I have no problem recommend A-Line General Contractors to my friends and co-workers.

Thx Lori for your review.
Chimney issues are the most common problems. But in your case i was honestly surprised. The last contractor did a great job with a metal flashing arround it. Not every day you can find the metal work like this. However, as you did see from the video i did, 'not all the gold that glitters.' Ice and water membrane is an essential part of the material to be installed arround the chimney and valleys. By only puting nice metal arround the chimney without inspecting and locating the reasons of the leaks can compromise the whole job. Again, it is all depends on how experienced the contractor is and on how good is his expertise.
Most of the repair jobs goes without any warranty for it. This is why it is such a profitable business for many "professionals". No reasonable contractors willing to take responsibilities for other contractors mistakes. If one spot is leaking- there can be more. In addition, contractor never know for 100% the condition of the rest of the roof. By knowing this most of the repair guys washing their hands away if something happening after their repair visits. They just claim that there is no warranty for the repair. That is why by giving the warranty for the job i did i am pretty much confident of what and how i am doing it.
Thx Lori.
