Vlad did a great job installing 2 linear kitchens for us. These went into a 1888 Victorian with wonky walls and floors. Vlad was able to come quickly & install professionally; we are so happy with the result. Thank you Vlad!

I am so glad I found these guys! We have a Victorian in Cabbagetown and needed to replace ALL of the baseboards and crown moulding on the main floor as part of a reno. It was 650 square feet of space, and needed 130 linear feet of baseboard and crown. My local big box carries expensive trim, but it's all wimpy 3 and 4 inch chipboard stuff meant for suburban houses. It would have looked awful in our high-ceiling house. Central Fairbank's amazing 9-inch high real wood baseboard was the same price as chipboard 4-inch baseboard! Moreover, it's the EXACT SAME STYLE that we had just ripped out of our Victorian! They reproduce all kinds of trim specifically for downtown Toronto houses - friends with a 1930s East York Arts+Crafts house were also able to find reproduction trim here, and at a good price. So glad we got our stuff here! Great to deal with too!

Strong wind destroyed a length of front fascia on our downtown rowhouse. A different company quoted $1200 to replace all of the fascia; M&R was able to replace just the visible part like I wanted for a fraction of the cost. The job was small so I had to wait a few weeks, but it was worth it. Their work looks great and they guys are a pleasure to deal with. Would use again.

Friendly Iman came to diagnose our clogged drain. It was an old external P-trap buried deep under the front yard of our downtown Toronto Victorian. Due to our small lot size and weird century old pipes, our job was more difficult than most. On Iman's advice we replaced the trap with a backflow valve and should get a $1250 rebate from the City. Iman and his workers were professional, communicative, and kept our front yard as clean as possible. Highly recommend! See photos attached

Farid and his crew are pros! They came on time, measured accurately, installed properly. We chose to integrate a shower curtian rail into the panel. The rail was backordered for a few weeks, but they came back and installed it when it arrived. Pleasure to deal with, too.

Vlad is a skilled tradesman who planned & installed our kitchen cabinets in a 1890s Cabbagetown Victorian. His work was top notch and a great value (about $1100 for Vlad's design and install service, plus $1700 for the cabinets). He was professional, clean, and the finish product is installed properly. He fit the cabinets to our uneven 120-year-old walls perfectly. Our design was quite elaborate, with a marble topped island that included a sink and panel-hidden dishwasher. He also had to strengthen the cabinets to take our marble countertops. Vlad isn't a slick salesman or a fancy designer, but a tradesman who knows IKEA inside and out. He improved on our "napkin" design and went back and forth with us 11 revisions will we were happy. We're picky. We special ordered door fronts to fit the IKEA cabinets from Semihandmade.com , which took time but was well worth it. Vlad came back to install these too. No complaints. It isn't worth assembling and installing these cabinets yourself. Vlad's a pro.

Vlatko and his crew measured and installed a complicated marble island & countertop in our Cabbagetown semi. They measured accurately in our old house. Honed (rather than polished) marble is impossible to find in Toronto, so they took a polished slab and honed it to our taste. As you can see in the photo, the right angle waterfall was done professionally and cleanly. I did have to ask them to come back twice, but they complied and kept working at it until I was happy. Vlatko was very professional to deal with for the entire experience. They also made a small vanity top what we're also happy with. These guys are pros. Photos attached.

Kent was responsive and did a great job at our 1890s Cabbagetown semi. He insulated our shared party wall more quickly, and with less mess, than anticipated. No damage to plaster! Seems to be a family business. They made it down our tiny mews street with no problem. My neighbour and I split the cost...at $750 per house, it's well worth it. We were skeptical at how effective blow-in would stop noise but it is working much better than expected. Photos attached.
