I called at 4pm and was told that someone would be at my home between 5pm and 7pm. A technician arrived within an hour, and by 6:25pm, the spring and the cables were replaced and everything was working. Highly recommended.

Lifter was installed without checking that the door spring was tensioned. Result is that door comes down with a lot of force that the spring is supposed to absorb. The installers should definitely checked that this was working properly. I had to phone Liftmaster to get this information; they were very helpful. I would guess that Altwood hire contarctors to do the installations, but since they are not the manufacturer of the door, this is a MAJOR part of what they do and they should have much more competent installers.

We were very satisfied with the help we got from Susan, the owner. She was totally involved with our projects and supervised everything. The finished result was excellent and I had difficulty finding the seams, they were so precise. They remade an ensuite counter top that was completely botched by another company. I can strongly recomend Royal for price and quality.

This is not a good company to deal with. Don't expect any customer service, they don't have it to give. Eric the owner is a miserable person to deal with and his son is no better. The son came in to measure and was gone in 3 minutes. He did not discuss any options with us as to the sink placements and the design of the cabinet and as a result we ended up with a top that was un-useable. I had it taken out and another company completely remake it. Do not use this company. They also go under the name "ABC Stone"

We have just had a really great kitchen installed. The quality and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. They worked with us on refining the design and they took as much time as we wanted. Unlike so many cabinet companies who really are just box makers and then buy their doors from another company, Royal have their own CNC machines in the back and their own paint shop. The quality of the finished cabinets that were delivered was exceptionally good and the price was very competitive, less than half when compared to one other estimate from a so called “Custom” cabinet maker. I strongly recommend them.
