Over the years, Doug Lyman has handled my plumbing emergencies and maintenance jobs. Many years ago, when I first me Doug, he convinced a reluctant insurance investigator to cover the cost of water damage in my home. Decades later, I ran into terrible trouble when a sewage pipe broke. Doug and his men dug out my basement and made my home whole again. You couldn't even tell where the work was done by the time they finished. He is now very much a friend. Trustworthy, reliable and honest; I couldn't recommend anyone more.

After their "care", my lawn was ruined. It took years to restore my lawn to normal after just one season with these guys. They took my money and buggered off. Calls to them resulted in no action being taken at all. Finally they promised me a $300 refund, which they reneged on. In the time that followed, hey saw it fit to harass me their lousy advertising. It took three angry letters to halt the phone calls and mail; the last one which was pretty nasty. I think they finally got the message.

I had nothing but grief with Green Lawn and Leuschner. Green Lawn ruined my lawn, promised me a cash return and never delivered. Leuschner wouldn't honor their so called "guarantee" (prominently displayed on their website) under their "care", my front lawn suffered heavy grub damage (I call it L----rot) and never returned after contacting them repeatedly. (They even had the nerve to argue with me and send me a prepayment envelope for the next season.) Enter Lawnsavers, a superb company who, over the course of 2008, transformed my dying lawn into one of the best looking lawns on the street! Throughout the season, they monitored my lawn and took action accordingly. Lawnsavers went above and beyond the call of duty. Nice people, too. Many thanks to the staff at Lawnsavers. They're the only lawn care company for me.
