I had Gill from Pestend come by to remove a wasp nest. He explained the process and removed the nest professionally. He applied a poison around the area of the nest to make sure they don't rebuild the nest their again.

I had C-Plus roofing replace all my shingles on my detached home last August (2021). I waited a whole calendar year to write this review because I wanted to make sure the roof went through all 4 seasons. Honestly, i could not be happier with their workmanship. Jacky and his team did an excellent job. They were clean, efficient, and respected my property like it was their own. We have gone through a couple of very strong windstorms over the last year and there have been no issues. While there were a few other roofers that came in slightly cheaper, I am happy i went with C-Plus roofing.

I Had to get rid of a lot of clutter that had been piling up in the basement over the years so turned to Homestars to find a good junk removal company. The first two companies I contacted didn't pick up my call so I kept going down the list until I came to We-Haul. Marc picked up my call immediately and gave me a rough idea about the price but said he would come by and give me a free no-obligation quote. Marc and his crew showed up on time and gave me a very reasonable quote of $300 which I agreed to. They got rid of all the junk, including a bulky air hockey table, in less than an hour and did so in a professional and respectful manner. Once everything was loaded up Marc said that the load wasn't as much as he thought and dropped the price by $20. I felt this was a nice touch and admired his honesty. I will certainly be using We-Haul again should I need any junk removed in the future.

Had some singles blown away from strong winds in late November 2013 resulting in a water leak in one of my bedrooms. Called a number of the well reviewed companies on Homestars and most of them said they couldn't come out until the end of the week. Saw an ad for this company on Kijiji and was apprehensive in dealing with them initially but felt like I had no choice as I needed this problem fixed asap. They came out within 3 hours, identified the source of the leak and replaced the blown away shingles for a very reasonable price. No problesm since. I would most certainly recommend.

Read a few reviews on Homestars and decided to call Peter regarding a leak from my kitchenaide fridge. Peter actually diagnosed the problem over the phone and advised that I could actually do it myself and save my money. This really earned my trust. Not being the most handy guy around, I asked him to come over and do the repair himself, which he did on November 15, 2013. Followed the instructions he left and haven't had a problem since. Would definatly recommend him.

I had Mr. Potlight install about 20 potlights on the main floor of my new construction home. John came in with a crew of about 3 guys and had the job done in about 3 hours. I was skeptical about the whole "no mess" thing, but you have to see it to beleive it. These guys make no mess at all. Very professional. I will use them again in the spring to do my exterior lights.

Just had my ducts cleaned by Paul and I am very satisfied with the job he did. Ducts look spotless!! He took the time to explain the procedure and was very friendly and accomodating. My previous experience with another duct cleaner was not so good but Paul blew me away with his workmanship and pleasant demenour. He did such a great job of cleaning up afterwards that I couldn't even tell he had been there. I will most certainly be using him again.

We took possession of a new construction home in Richmond Hill and needed window coverings for the entire house. After reading many reviews on homestars we decided to get Alex at Amazing Window Fashions to provide us with a quote. He came over to the house to price the job and provided some great suggestions as well. He even came over to our the house we were renting at the time so he could see our furniture and colour scheme in order to give a more informed opinion. We then met him at his store where he provided more ideas and opinions and he was very patient while we tried to figure out what to go with. Finally we made our selections and clearly outlined when we wanted the coverings installed. He was very accommodating and assured us the coverings would be ready within our specified time frame. Due to some delays in our renovation schedule we asked him to extend the installation date on two occasions and he was nice enough to accommodate our request. Installation was smooth and done professionally. There were some minor glitches which prevented him from completing the installation the same day but Alex handled the situation professionally and came back a few days later to finish the job. All in all my wife and I are very satisfied with the job done and love all the colours we picked for our drapes. I will most certainly recommend Amazing to anyone. I realize the rating system only goes to 10 but if I could I would have given him 11 out of 10. He was a pleasure to deal with!

I had Emil remove my existing countertop and replace it with Granite. He educated me along the way as to the type of Granite as well as the edgeing and layout over the island. Although he was quite busy he mananged to work within our timelines and installed the granite on th eday he had promised. They tok out my existing countertops carefully and disposed of it. I also had them provide a rectangular sink which the mounted and had a plumber come by the nexy day to instal the faucet. All in all, the job was done professionally and to out expectations. His price was also quite reasonable. I would definatly recommend.

After reading countless good reviews of Brent, I decided I wanted to get him to do my 30-day new home inspection. Brent was on time and spent a good 4 hours at the house looking over everything. He is a wealth of knowledge and gave me some good pointers along the way. He actually found quite a few things (nothing major, thank god) and was kind enough to list them not only in the binder but also completed the Tarion sheets which saved me a lot of time. He took tons of pictures and emailed me the main ones for my review. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family and use him in the future.

Met with Arnie a few times. He's a nice guy and explains everything in detail and shows you the samples they will be using. Agreed to a date and time and they were there as scheduled. They installed crown moulding in my entire house in one day and did a fantastic job with no mess whatsoever. All the nail holes were filled and the edges and corners were caulked professionally. Their workmanship is exceptional and price wise you can not beat these guys. Trust me; I shopped around and they offered the best price. I would highly recommend them.

My garage door spring snapped last sunday and after reading up some reviews on Homestars I decided to call Steve. I told him I needed the garage fixed as soon as possible as I needed to get the car out. Even though he had a full day of jobs lined up, he promised to swing by late in the evening. He replaced the spring, aligned the sensor, lubricated the tracks and educated me on how to solve basic issues that may come up in the future. Steve had an excellent attitude and you can clearly see he takes great pride in what he does. This was a small job for him but he still time to go the extra mile. I highly recommed him.

I used these guys last year to do some duct cleaning after they called claiming to be in the area and offering a great price of $199. The guy on the phone said this price included all vents as well as a "sanitizer." The two guys that showed up were very unproffesional and tried to pull the furnace cleaning upsell. When we declined, they quickly finished the job and left. I asked about the "sanitizer" and the guy just said we didn't need it. I reminded him that this was to be included in the price at which point the other guy said it wasn't and that i should call head office if i have any questions. Complete waste of time and didn't even do the job. Avoid this company at all cost.
